There are many adventures to have in shopping, hiking, biking, skiing, fishing & just exploring the quaint towns of Bayfield, Pagosa & Durango.

Secluded Solar Cabin with Picturesque Views

Remote 300 sq ft solar powered cabin in the ponderosa forest 7 miles from the town of Mancos by Mancos State Park. Great place to stay in the area while on your trip to the southwest or Mesa Verde National Park. A pleasant place for guests who want to unplug, relax, and enjoy a rustic outdoor wilderness experience. Great trails for hiking, bird watching, cross country skiing and snow shoeing! Note: If a big winter you will need a 4x4 or all wheel drive vehicle to access the neighborhood.

Strawbale Cottage

Staying in a Strawbale home is a special experience! The thick adobe walls create a cozy and warm feeling that a traditional stick built home just can’t. Enjoy the vaulted ceilings, heated floors, new appliances and natural sunlight. Backyard, fire pit and gas grill as well as outdoor eating space. The view from the kitchen looks out on a private pond and local historic (retired) Rio Grande Railroad bridge. Some scenes from the movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid were shot by this bridge!

Little Sis'....a sweet retreat (town minutes away)

This pristine little Scandinavian D-log cabin sits on over 2 quiet wooded acres a brief 5-minute drive from uptown Pagosa (our more commercial area with nicer grocery store, dining, brewery, Walmart, etc) and about 10 minutes to the springs (downtown). Your experience is enhanced with a gas grill, outdoor seating/dining table, fully outfitted kitchen, and even a clearing for campfire and stargazing. Deer and wild turkeys are frequent visitors. Beautiful Log Mountain Home with a View

Our beautiful mountain home is nestled between Durango and Pagosa Springs Colorado. Whether you are looking for a quite, private and secluded vacation spot or a home between two local ski resorts (Purgatory and Wolf Creek) this home offers the best of both worlds. This is also a great hunting spot, less than a quarter mile walk to public hunting property held by BLM. You can walk right out the door and hike, snow shoe, or sled down the driveway. We are not present when the home is occupied.

Rural Hideaway Tiny House w/ Lofts

You will love this Log Cabin Tiny House in Rural setting. Nice porch for morning coffee while watching the sunrise. Occasionally deer and quail will wander through. The fire pit and the hot tub increase the enjoyment the evenings under the stars. If you want to leave, Aztec is 10 minutes or Durango only 30. Tico Time is 10 minutes. House is stocked with condiments, spices, coffee, a pancake breakfast, wifi, cozy couch and loveseat, smart TV, queen bed, full bed and peaceful surroundings!

Tocayo Farm Cottage Durango

Tocayo farm, 10 miles from Durango, sits in the Florida River Valley. The main house and cottage are located in the middle of our 28 acres which is bordered to the east by the Florida River. The cottage, which has been completely renovated, was once the blacksmithing shop for the homesteaders who settled here over a 100 years ago. Tocayo is a working farm with both a sheep operation and a commercial garden. Private patio with grill, plenty of parking, wildlife and great views.

Beautiful Bunkhouse w/Epic Views Outside Durango

The New Beautiful Bunkhouse is your mountain getaway for some rest and relaxation just outside of Durango. Bright lofted ceilings, surrounded by nature, with some added country farm charm. You will have the comforts of home, with a jaw dropping view of the La Plata mountains, and dark starry nights. The perfect spot for couples or solo travelers to kick up your feet and ENJOY. This is our hobby farm, so we hope you like farm fresh eggs, fuzzy critters, and crisp mountain air.

Mountain Escape

Great forest escape in the mountains. Our house offers space to come together as a family, slow down and enjoy nature. The fresh, cool mountain air is refreshing and inviting. Like most mountain homes, our house does not have AC as the breeze keeps the house cooler. During those unseasonably warm times, the box fans in the windows keep the air flowing and trips to the lake or river are just perfect! We have upgraded our internet and are averaging speeds over 100 MBPS.

Mesa View Retreat

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Enjoy beautiful views of the La Plata mountains from three different outdoor decks. Play outside in the large, fenced-in yard with your children and furry friends. Inside the house, guests can enjoy two separate living rooms. Cook inside in the Chef's kitchen, or grill outside on the beautiful patio. Located on Florida Mesa, ten minutes from the Durango Airport and five minutes from downtown Durango.

Amy’s Place

Welcome to our beautiful southwestern home with a view of open space and forest. You will be staying on the ground floor of a unique 2 unit home. A long term tenant lives upstairs in a separate apartment with a separate private entrance. Amy and Daniel are available remotely if you need anything during your stay. We are two miles from town, 5 from downtown and 29 miles from Purgatory. It’s the perfect southwest adventure hub!
