The ‘Sunday Sleep-Inn’ is a spacious self-contained studio situated on the ground floor of our renovated Queenslander home. We keep the door locked between the studio and the house and there are no shared areas. There is private external access and ample street parking. Surrounded by natural beauty, with parks and waterways on our doorstep and a 10 min. walk to Shorncliffe train station.

Enjoy the quiet and convenient top level of our picturesque Queenslander with a spacious yard and off street parking. With 1 bedroom, 1 study, 1 bathroom, a lounge, a balcony and a kitchen, you can cook at home or enjoy the many restaurants the Kedron-Chermside area has to offer. This is in the perfect spot to access Chermside Shopping Centre, Prince Charles Hospital or RBWH. We're a 15-min drive / 35-min bus ride to the Brisbane CBD (short walk to major bus routes on Gympie Road).

The property is located in a fairly quiet and family orientated street. The unit is on the same property as the main house and is a generous size approx 70sqM. The house and unit are separated by a breezeway. The unit is your own private space and has a small kitchenette and various appliances. You'll have access to the pool (un-heated) and BBQ area as well. I ask that you please limit guest numbers (if at all). My interaction will be fairly minimal.

Tropical Nest

The guest house is a fully self contained studio room under our family Queenslander house. You will have the studio room all by yourself. It has everything you need from a short stay to a long term stay, whether you work, study or just leisure travel. It’s conveniently located in the heart of Hamilton! Disclaimer: there will be some noise coming from upstairs through the wooden ceiling: in the morning between 6:30-8:30am and afternoon evening 3-9:30pm.

Gorgeous unit in Chermside with city views

The unit is modern, clean and has everything you would need for a great stay. The bedroom has a very comfy queen bed, a TV, plenty of storage. The unit is on the top floor with great city views. There are only 30 units in the block and the street is nice and quiet. The unit has been recently painted and has fresh new carpet in the bedroom.
