Walk to Town! Cozy Studio Cabin in the Woods

Blocks away from the heart of Idyllwild, yet surrounded by trees and wildlife, this secluded gem is the perfect romantic or quiet getaway! Watch the jays and squirrels eat peanuts from the deck or nibble at seeds from the yard. This cabin was completely remodeled with a hand laid shower mosaic to the wooden beams made from trees grown and harvested directly from our property, and much more, you will see the love and craftsmanship that went into finishing this cabin. Only a mile to cafes, restaurants, art galleries and boutiques. A Southwestern flair and all the amenities for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Just over 2 hours from Los Angeles or San Diego & 1 hour from Palm Springs, enjoy world-class hiking, breathtaking views, & all that the unique and preserved town of Idyllwild has to offer. Bathrooms were remodeled in 2023 and the kitchen in 2025!

Welcome to Scenic View House, a spacious yet intimate midcentury home with everything you need for a perfect retreat! Dogs welcome! Open plan living space in front with incredible views, three bedrooms, with a full bathroom accessible from the main living space and a second, en suite bathroom. Mini-split AC/heating in the main room, and in-wall AC/heating in each bedroom. Hot tub, propane grill, wood-burning stove, and deck dining complete the recipe for relaxing mountain time. Dreamy A-Frame Cabin in the Woods

Relax and enjoy nature at our beautiful, tranquil, lovingly remodeled A-frame cabin, now with a brand new master suite and sunroom! Within walking distance from the center of town, it's perfectly situated on a quiet street amongst the trees, buzzing with blue jays and hummingbirds. Curl up by the fireplace and enjoy surround-sound tunes, or have a spa-like soak after hitting the nearby trails. As a creative couple ourselves, we designed this space for romantic getaways and creative retreats.

The Owlz Downlow

“Artists’ Paradise!” This 500 sq ft one-bedroom storybook cabin (ideal for just two adults - no parties!) was built in 1930 by Idyllwild miners and is hidden on an acre of thick woods with private hiking trails where you will discover a large hovering UFO, 2 real crashed airplanes, among other artifacts. It is also home to the owner’s vintage Jeep and motorcycle collection. Every room is filled with original rock and roll themed art projects and the kitchen ceiling is a museum unto itself.

Manzanitas as our cabin is fondly called is a very unique and special place. The property is graced with a massive oak tree and sits high on boulders. There is generous local history with a seasonal stream and rock facing covered in Native American'Mitate' - holes used to grind acorns into flour. Take time to relax and unwind in this peaceful space - sit by the large rock fireplace, walk a short distance to town and grab a craft beer, or take a beautiful hike at one of our famed trails.

The Far Out - A Frame cabin in the woods

The Far Out is a classic A-frame cabin nestled in the beautiful woods of Idyllwild in the San Jacinto Mountains. This mountain retreat sits on an acre of land, complete with a 1200 sq ft wooden deck and semi-sunken hot tub. The interior décor is impeccably curated, blending vintage character with modern design for a distinctly cool cabin vibe. Set far back from the road, the cabin and the grounds offer a magnificent private space for a relaxing getaway. Beauty abounds at The Far Out!

Treetop Hideout · On 2.5 Acres of Private Forest

Treetop Hideout is a classic alpine chalet perched high on the ridge overlooking Idyllwild village, surrounded by panoramic views of the San Jacinto mountains. This secluded, quiet little cabin is for all forest lovers, but would be most enjoyed by folks with an adventurous spirit (see Winter Access). You will be greeted with the stillness of the woods, sunrise + sunset views from two cantilevered balconies, all while wrapped in a cozy, luxurious interior.
