Antonio is super responsive and made it easy to find the location. The room is just as displayed. Shower is small, but everything works well. Has an A/C for cold/heat too, which was great as it was a cold night when we were there. Definitely recommend. Tight streets, but nice to have parking up by the room. You could also park at the lesser-known bottom gate and walk up, very close to the room as well. If you have a small car then you could drive from that small gate. Didn't find great restaurants in Monsanto, but Antonio suggested another one, so we walked the 15 minutes to the town beneath that had a place called O Carlos that had good food and was open until 10pm. Castle ruins are great. Monsanto town is like a story book. Amazing sunsets.

si vous cherchez la tranquilité venez Rubens où vous mangerez sous l'oranger et des oliviers au chant des oiseaux. il y a tout ce qui faut pour passer un bon sejour. Merci Rubens pour tes conseils. De plus Rubens joint une video. genial, beaucoup devrait s'en inspirer. merci encore Rubens du pain aux olives à bientôt de revenir car c'est 5 etoiles ++++

Meriem is the best host you can imagine. During the whole stay, we felt like home, she was very responsive and helpful. Her beautiful dog Ishka is super friendly. The place itself is beautiful - it is right in the middle of the farms, surrounded by fields. You may see some wild animals here, and enjoy the silence and clean sky with tones of stars. It is pretty hot during summer, but the room has air conditioning.
