Stay in breathtaking Thompson Falls, Montana, in one of our 14 beautiful woodland themed cabin suites. Our property borders National Forest, surrounded by state land and adjacent to Noxon Reservoir. All our suites have flat screen tv's, fireplaces and kitchenettes and full use of our great game room. Just minutes to some of the best fishing, atv riding, hiking, hunting and snowmobile trails. We are located on scenic Blue Slide Road, between Thompson Falls and Trout Creek, Montana.

Deluxe Queen with shared bath

Indulge in the pastoral charm of your cozy queen bed room. A shared bath nearby brings a homier experience. Natural light fills the guest room during the day, with lamps to brighten up the room when it gets dark outside. Hidden Bear has 7 Deluxe Queen rooms throughout the facility. 2 on the 1st floor and 3 on the 2nd floor of the lodge. There are 3 more on the 3rd floor of the retreat center. Each room has its's own decor and charm. 1st floor rooms have private entrances.

Lake Village Lodge Suite 8

Freshly remodeled (2023) suite. Brand new award winning Helix Sleep King Mattress. Convenient location, near downtown festivities and close to the freeway entrance for quick access to all the mountain, skiing, lake, river, and hiking CDA and the surrounding areas have to offer! This room has a queen bed so this can comfortably sleep 2. Great home base for all your Coeur d'Alene adventures. If you need more space, check out our suites 6, 7, and 10 at Lake Village Lodge.

Paradise on the Palouse - Nature Room

Come relax in a hidden hideaway, 10 miles from the Palouse Divide Mountain Range. Enjoy the sunset from the patio after enjoying an outdoor BBQ, followed by a rousing game of horseshoes. ATV access and walking trails just minutes away. Basketball court on site for the kids. Hunters, be on the mountain in minutes. We have places to hang your game for processing. There is also room for a couple of RV’s. No hookups available, but there are outside water spickets on site.

Lake Village Lodge Suite 9

Deluxe Queen with private bath

The lovely queen sleigh bed beckons to you as soon as you enter this bright and comfortable second floor room. The open closets provide plenty of room for your belongings. A window seat below the large window brings every opportunity for snuggling up with a good Agatha Christie, while out the window is a view of the open field and surrounding mountains. When you’re in need of further relaxation, the large private bath includes an alcove shower/tub.

Single Twin with shared bath

You’ll feel right at home in the twin guest room. With simple and serene details that remind you of your spiritual journey, the room sits at the top of the stairs, right near the reading nook and across the hall from the common bathroom. You’ll see evergreen trees and woodland nature when you peek out the window, with that theme echoed throughout the room. Please see our Amenities page for more about lodge and provided amenities.

Lake Village Lodge Suite 10

Hidden Bear Retreat Center - King bed suite

Experience rustic elegance in the spacious master guest room. Enjoy the comfortable king sleigh bed or relax with a book in one of the recliners. Write your memoirs at the classic rollaway desk, gathering inspiration as you gaze out the window at the mountain view. The double headed shower or the tiled Roman tub awaits. This is a two-person room.

Kicking Bird Wall Tent

Our Kicking Bird Wall Tent has the charm of the Old West, yet quite comfortable with new beds, linens and blankets. It's located in a little meadow with a view of the forest and real buffalo. The bath house with restrooms and showers is about 100 yards away and there is a porta potty nearby.
