This room is a tribute to the wagon train and pack strings that moved goods, pelts, meat, and mining gear to Elk City. Your horse, mule, donkey, or pony are all welcome at the hitchin post right outside your room. We stripped all floor layers and finished the real wood floor under it all. Note: In typical Mule Skinner ingenuity, I did not need to build a hump in the floor, it was there already. This is the most rustic room, one dog is welcome.

아직 내부 사진이 없습니다. 이 객실은 리모델링 중입니다. 이 숙소는 여러분의 삶 속 아이들을 위한 곳입니다. 매일 출근하는 이유와 집에 돌아가 기대하는 것. 옛 엘크 시티 시절에는 꼬마들이 직접 장난감을 만들고, 조랑말, 말, 염소를 타고 다녔습니다. 하루를 깨끗하게 시작했고, 더러워진 채로 집에 돌아왔습니다. 주머니에는 구슬, 돌, 병뚜껑, 실, 포켓 나이프가 가득 들어 있었습니다. 객실에 비치된 실제 사진은 엘크시티 아이들이 좋아하는 일을 하는 모습입니다.

양떼 목장 주인

양 먹는 자(Sheep Eater)는 아이다호, 몬태나, 와이오밍의 산악 지역에 살았던 쇼쇼니족 아메리카 원주민 무리인 투쿠데카(Tukudeka)에서 유래한 용어입니다. 그들은 주요 식량과 의복 재료가 큰뿔 산양이었기 때문에 '양먹이 부족(Sheepeaters)'이라고 불렸습니다. 그들은 목양을 위해 나무 울타리를 치는 것과 같은 고급 사냥 기술을 활용하여 높고 험준한 산악 환경에서 생활하는 것으로 알려져 있었습니다. 그들은 전문 알프스 사냥꾼이었습니다.

이 방의 이름은 미국 산림청과 엘크 시티에서 창출된 모든 일자리를 기리기 위해 지었습니다. 1905년 2월 1일에 설립된 미국 산림청(USFS)은 지속 가능한 수확량을 확보하기 위해 연방 산림 보호 구역을 과학적으로 관리하기 위해 진보주의 시대에 설립되었습니다. 시어도어 루스벨트 대통령 시절 기포드 핀쇼트 1세 국장을 중심으로 한 이 기관은 내무부에서 농무부로 이전되어 자연보호, 목재 관리, 화재 진압에 중점을 두었습니다.
