My husband and I had a wonderful time walking around on the grounds and the mansion as well. We would definitely stay here again! This place did not disappoint!!!! The grounds keeper Jarrod was so nice and helpful. He recommended places for us to eat. We took him up on all the recommendations and the food was very good. The pictures really don't give this place justice. The house was well stocked of necessities and let me just say, it was not the cheap stuff. Such a nice place to just relax and unwind. Hope to go back one day.

This spot was perfect for us - family of adults with children - to visit with family in New Iberia that live about a block from this Airbnb. There were enough private spaces for each of us to have our own rooms, the beds were comfy enough, and the space was just as described. That said, Center St is loud - cars with loud stereo systems, the train runs several times a day, and there are some interesting characters around. It was fine for us, because our family lives down the road, but just a PSA for anyone that might not need to stay in downtown New Iberia. Lane was a great host, very helpful and responsive. The AC seems a bit weak, and that’s speaking for December in Louisiana. I’d be hesitant about how well it can cool off the place during the summer. It seemed like the temp on the thermostat wasn’t accurate to what it felt like in the place. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay.

Great home! It was spacious and could fit the family comfortably! Quiet neighborhood, close to dining and fun activities!

Renting from Maria is great. She was quick to respond to any messages. The house is in a great location; there is a short drive to many stores in Broussard and Lafayette. I did take advice from another review to put table cloths over the windows for more privacy. Overall, it was a great experience and I would rent from Maria again. Thank you!

We stayed here during Festival International. It's about a 20 min drive from downtown lafayette. Quiet, easy to get to area. The pool was great. House had everything we needed. Hosts were quick to respond. Would definitely stay again.

I definitely needed this quiet gateway. It’s truly is a beautiful property. I love the charm of the cabin feel. I felt like I was in my own island and that is what I was seeking. The design is so cute and the Cajun charm. I love the beautiful heart on the tree as I was walking around exploring the property. The vibes the property gives are secluded and tranquility at its finest. Really good place for reflection and meditation for restarting yourself back to center. The host Amy was very nice with responding to my questions. I appreciated her letting me arrive early. I did feel very welcome and I appreciated the snacks and drinks. I would stay here again. It’s really an Introvert Paradise when you need some alone time just to breathe and focus on yourself. I love seeing the cows 🐄 and hearing them moo 🐮. Love animals and being around all the time. Adorable spot right off downtown New Iberia. Mickey and Tiffany were very proactive in their communications and gave clear descriptions of where to park and how to check in. The place is sweet, with a comfortable bed, cute washer/dryer unit, great bathtub, and peaceful back deck overlooking the bayou. We also appreciated the bottled water! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Wow, what an awesome hidden gem 💎!! We had the best time and everything was precisely as described!! Patti is an excellent host and goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable!! Our daughter and her friends had a wonderful time kayaking down Petite Anse and sunbathing on the deck overlooking the bayou!! I had the best time fishing and soaking up all the scenery of the wildlife and landscape…. My husband said “he was in the clouds” whilst he slept in the very comfy bed downstairs!! Pristinely clean and very well stocked with all amenities!! All the sweet lil extras was a welcome treat!! TY Will definitely be back!! 💯 🙏🙌💖🎣🥂

The place was perfect for us and the kids. Coffee on the porch, the lil fenced in yard for the dog, and the very comfy beds were just a few of the wonderful things. If I am ever back in Youngsville I will stay again!

We had a delightful stay. The weather was great and the surrounding area offered many different things to do. The apartment fit four adults and two dogs very well. The outdoor area was large and we spent most of our time out there. The beds were so comfortable as were the linens. A+ all the way around!

Linda’s Lu-Zan Suites was the perfect place for us. Comfortable furniture and bed, steps from Main Street, easy parking, and it felt like home. Thank you Linda for sharing Lu-Zan with us…

Serene little getaway with all the amenities. We appreciated the washer and dryer with provided laundry pods, fully equipped kitchen, indoor + outdoor fireplaces (+ wood provided), and perhaps the jacuzzi most of all! Gorgeous scenery and secluded road for a peaceful morning/ evening stroll. Couldn’t have loved it more!

Jeff and David's place served as a great home base for the weekend. The estate is beautiful and private, and the barn apartment was as described. It's the perfect combination of rustic and homey, the bed was comfortable, and the AC kept up with the humid heat of Louisiana just fine (though the bathroom does get a bit warm.) If you’re looking for an interesting place to stay in New Iberia, then this or one of the other rooms they rent in the main house is a great choice!

A lovely cabin in a secluded woodland spot. Definitely a place to stay if you're in the area.

This Airbnb exceeded all expectations! The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity I could’ve hoped for. From the super comfortable bed to the well-stocked kitchen, every detail felt thoughtful and intentional. The host was incredibly responsive and made check-in a breeze. The location was perfect — quiet, safe, and close to everything I needed. I honestly didn’t want to leave! I’d 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, hassle-free stay. Can’t wait to come back!

This place is extraordinary, and Jeff was the consummate host. He was super-responsive, gave lots of helpful suggestions for things to do and went out of his way to make us feel fully at home with both total privacy and total availability. The home itself is wildly wonderful, exactly like the photos except more expansive inside and outside, with a lot of land. The landscape is gorgeous, and the bayou could not be prettier. I recommend this place for anyone!
