Once again, my time at The Steamboat Inn was nothing short of exceptional! The charm of the home, the impeccable customer service, and the warm hospitality of the entire “Steamboat Team” create an experience that is truly unmatched. In fact, I’ve already booked my next two stays!

My husband and I had a wonderful time walking around on the grounds and the mansion as well. We would definitely stay here again! This place did not disappoint!!!! The grounds keeper Jarrod was so nice and helpful. He recommended places for us to eat. We took him up on all the recommendations and the food was very good. The pictures really don't give this place justice. The house was well stocked of necessities and let me just say, it was not the cheap stuff. Such a nice place to just relax and unwind. Hope to go back one day.

This was our 2nd stray and we absolutely love it here. Its clean,cozy, and has all the amenities that you need.

The house and property were gorgeous and perfect for our needs as a family traveling together. We loved eating breakfast on the patio overlooking the beautiful pond and enjoyed evenings by the fire pit. The house was extremely clean and well stocked. Everyone kept saying that if we are ever back in the area, it would be a great place to stay again.

We stayed here during Festival International. It's about a 20 min drive from downtown lafayette. Quiet, easy to get to area. The pool was great. House had everything we needed. Hosts were quick to respond. Would definitely stay again.

I definitely needed this quiet gateway. It’s truly is a beautiful property. I love the charm of the cabin feel. I felt like I was in my own island and that is what I was seeking. The design is so cute and the Cajun charm. I love the beautiful heart on the tree as I was walking around exploring the property. The vibes the property gives are secluded and tranquility at its finest. Really good place for reflection and meditation for restarting yourself back to center. The host Amy was very nice with responding to my questions. I appreciated her letting me arrive early. I did feel very welcome and I appreciated the snacks and drinks. I would stay here again. It’s really an Introvert Paradise when you need some alone time just to breathe and focus on yourself. I love seeing the cows 🐄 and hearing them moo 🐮. Love animals and being around all the time. Walking through the door of this house after being utterly exhausted from travel was the most relieving and comforting feeling. Southern hospitality is alive and well here! The entire house was perfectly appointed. The beds were all comfy, but the master bed was so darn nice, that it was better than my bed at home! The fire pit was a magical memory for the kids. (Fireflies were even with us!) The backyard vibes are peaceful and private. The host (Monty) is so sweet and caring. I like to try new places, but next time we are in town we will probably return here because this is a rental that feel likes home and is everything my family needs. Thanks for hosting us with such a welcoming heart!

Serene little getaway with all the amenities. We appreciated the washer and dryer with provided laundry pods, fully equipped kitchen, indoor + outdoor fireplaces (+ wood provided), and perhaps the jacuzzi most of all! Gorgeous scenery and secluded road for a peaceful morning/ evening stroll. Couldn’t have loved it more!

A lovely cabin in a secluded woodland spot. Definitely a place to stay if you're in the area.

Wow, what an awesome hidden gem 💎!! We had the best time and everything was precisely as described!! Patti is an excellent host and goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable!! Our daughter and her friends had a wonderful time kayaking down Petite Anse and sunbathing on the deck overlooking the bayou!! I had the best time fishing and soaking up all the scenery of the wildlife and landscape…. My husband said “he was in the clouds” whilst he slept in the very comfy bed downstairs!! Pristinely clean and very well stocked with all amenities!! All the sweet lil extras was a welcome treat!! TY Will definitely be back!! 💯 🙏🙌💖🎣🥂

This place was amazing!! So peaceful siting outside on the deck and so many different areas to relax while at the house. There are so many amenities included to keep you busy. We enjoyed fishing off the deck while an alligator watched nearby! The neighborhood and surrounding area had so much to do. We ate so much good food and the people were all so friendly. We loved our stay here and would love to come back again, highly recommend!
