Privately own cottage farm in quiet area next to the Atlantic Ocean with great view over the mountains. Real Icelandic farm experience with animals and perfect location to see the Northern Lights during the wintertime (if conditions are optimal). The place is just outside Town of Borganes (5 km) where you can find a discount store. Interesting places nearby are Langjökull, Barnafossar, Deildartunguhver (hot spring) and Snæfellsjökull. Also short drive to Reykjavik (80 km) and Golden Circle.

The Lake House is part of Hvammsvik Nature Resort and Hot Springs, a gated 1200 acre estate along the coast enjoying spectacular nature and views, only 40 min away from Reykjavik. Gunnu Hús by Meðalfellsvatn ( Our lakeside cottage nestles at the foot of Medalfell mountain and the garden leads right down to the lake. The views are spectacular, of the lake and its surrounding mountain scape; it is a place of pure tranquility. It has 3 bedrooms and an open plan kitchen and sitting room. It has a large double bedroom, and small double bedroom and a room with a bunk bed. It is well known and often listed as one of the most scenic and lovely summer cottages in Iceland.

Approximately 50 kilometres outside of Reykjavik, more precisely, in Hvalfjordur is a little cottage located right by the ocean shore. On the ground floor is a joint kitchen/living room includes a microwave and a dishwasher. The kitchen view is the sea itself. Toilet with a shower On the second floor has a bedroom loft with 2 queen size beds and one single person’s bed.

Welcome to Saga Cabins, your base for exploring the Snæfellsnes peninsula. Our cabins sit on a secluded peninsula surrounded by the ocean, with views of Snæfellsnes glacier, Eldborg crater, and private black sand beaches. Each cabin has a private hot tub, perfect for stargazing and watching the Northern Lights. In winter, access is easy, as we clear snow with a snowblower or tractor as needed.

Converted Water Tower

A three floor uniquely converted modern water tower and a first purpose built Micro house in Iceland. The water tower was build in 1960 then converted to a Micro house in 2017. The view from the tower is unique with lava fields, craters, mountains and the cost line. Only 5 min away from the Blue Lagoon. One of the closest house to the Volcano in Geldingadalir Grindavík

The cabins are located in a remote area 15 minutes from Keflavik International Airport. The setting is on the Atlantic coastline so you can expect a nourishing breeze. All cabins come with a private hot tub. Cabins suit you well if you want to lay back & relax in nature. There is no light pollution around the cabins so it's a great place to see the Aurora borealis.

The cottage is close to the sea and you can see the seals play along the shore. The cottage although small is ideal for 2-4 person. It´s well equipped and has a private hot tub on the veranda, where you can soak while enjoying the view. There is no light polution like in Reykjavik and towns so this place is ideal for watching the Northern Lights.

Black Beach Aurora Dome

Experience unparalleled luxury and comfort at a black sand beach with beautiful views all around. There is a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom in our shared service house on the property, about 200m from the dome, as well as toilet cabins in a short walking distance from the dome.
