Excellent stay for beautiful sunsets and stargazing. The place felt very private, calm, and peaceful. The sunset views are the best part during our stay. Plenty of activities to do and it's close to Bayfield for quick errands. Our host, Jacob, is very responsive and communicative. Will definitely recommend.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at Pedro’s cottage. The location was perfect on the shores of Lake Huron between Goderich and Kincardine. The 3 bedroom cottage was a perfect fit for our family and a well appointed kitchen with every kitchen tool thoughtfully included to prepare meals. We felt at home immediately and ready to rest and relax and enjoy time on the many decks, the beach and swimming. The deck off the living room was a perfect spot to eat breakfast and the glass sided lower deck offers expansive views of beautiful Lake Huron. It was hard to leave after 7 days but the best places often are. Thank you Pedro for the thoughtful welcome gift. It was very much appreciated.

This a fabulous place to stay. It is so beautifully curated so that even though it is not a large space the hosts have included everything you need. There is a very, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, games,a great entertainment system, and its steps from the beach. If you like to walk you can easily access trails as well as the main strip. Fabulous! Thank you!

The cottage was perfectly quaint and so cozy! Exactly what we were looking for - a place to relax, read, and walk along the beach. We stayed 3 nights in early November, so we cozied up inside mostly, but I could see spending more time down on the beach during summer. The uninterrupted view of the horizon is incredible! (FYI, there are ~100 stairs down to the beach, but it's worth it) Bayfield and Goderich are very close, both delightful towns to spend an afternoon walking around in, visiting the local shops. I would not hesitate to come back again, we felt we very rejuvenated after our long weekend here.

From beginning to end it was perfect. The cottage reminded me of the one I grew up in. Neighbours were pleasant and kept to themselves. Property was gorgeous and the outside shower truly is a pleasant surprise. Kitchen was well stocked with items you’d have at home and a bonus fridge outside to keep your beverages cold! Katie was very quick to respond to my inquires about the bbq. We ran out of propane but there was a full tank ready for us. I hope to come back and share this gem with more family and friends.

This stay is one of a kind. The cottage is clean, cozy, beautiful, well maintained and fit our family of 5 + our dog perfectly. The yard is a perfect size and the walk down to the beach is truly magical. The sunsets are… immaculate to say the least. This home is located perfectly in my opinion. It’s so peaceful, quiet and serene while downtown is only about a 5 min drive! I was having trouble accessing my email when we arrived so I couldn’t pull up the instructions on how to get into the house. I called Jennifer and she kindly helped me right away! We will be back in the future!! Thanks so much!

We spent our family reunion here at Zac’s place for the Easter long weekend and had an amazing time. Our stay was better than expected with everything you can think of. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub, bonfire, theatre room downstairs and the kids loved having the entire upstairs to themselves. The Alexa speaker all around the house was an added bonus. We cannot thank Zac & his family enough for the accommodation. We would love to come back & create more memories with our family in the near future.

This place was perfect for our family of 4! Quick drive to Sauble beach. Has everything you need and more. Kind and responsive hosts. Definitely booking again next summer!

Sara was an excellent host! She was quick to respond, gave clear instructions and was very understanding of our needs. She had the fire going for us inside which was so nice! I very much appreciated her flexibility with check in and out! The home was beautiful and clean - it had everything we needed and felt like a home which is so nice! Loved the huge dining table for us girls to gather! The beds were a 8.5/10 which is a win. There was not complete privacy and we did feel out in the open at the fire pit - I’m sure summer is even busier! The sunset was stunning - the stairs to the beach were intense - great exercise but be prepared. Neighbour’s were friendly. I’d say the only negative (which isn’t really negative), was the living room furniture., it was somewhat uncomfortable because it has been used. A plus was being so close to Grand Bend for all your needs! Thanks Sara - we hope to return!

We loved Michele’s house. It was clean and user friendly with everything we needed. We were a little surprised with one full bath and 2 half baths, but this turned out to be a non-event for us. We had a very flexible schedule and used the primary bath for showers. So no issue. The views, the deck and the seating by the lake were amazing. We enjoyed those both morning and evening. Sunsets were very special Michele was very responsive for questions and gave us exact instructions for entering the house. We were in a well maintained, well loved home and would definitely rent from her again, if in the area. Thank you Michele

We had an amazing time at Peter’s place. The area was extremely beautiful and the cottage was very well kept and clean. We are extremely gracious of Peter letting us use his place, as well as being extremely accommodating and would love to return in the near future.

Loved this location - beach right across the road with chairs provided to take over and enjoy! Easy walk to town for restaurants and cafes and shopping. Just a beautiful town and perfect cottage to enjoy it! All the needed equipment and extra provided. Bedding was so lovely! Can’t say enough! Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend this place if you are a fan of hot tubs and wish to see the lake while doing this. As a true fan of hot tub, I have tried many different kinds of stay. The scenery in this place is one of the best, especially if you like the vibe of being in the forest and lake. The only inconvenience is that you have to bring your towels and bedsheets (bring some laundry detergent if you plan to stay a longer time). Maybe you will see a very peaceful and cute cat (not sure if it is a stray cat) strolling around the house! The cat will greet you kindly, so please be kind to it!

I had such a beautiful and peaceful stay here, and Nadine was so incredibly responsive, especially when I had a few questions at check-in (and being that it was after 8pm and she responded immediately and swiftly) and was BEYOND helpful and accommodating. Very pleasant and friendly to speak with, which I really appreciated :) I will definitely be renting this AirBNB again as it’s exactly as described in the description and via the pictures posted. It is such a quaint, homey-feeling cottage and having the beach access literally a stone’s throw away, was priceless. Also; WOW. The beach here was stunning and immaculate. It was truly more than I could have hoped for. I was needing a place to get away for a few days and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature, and this was 1000% the place to do it. The few individuals I did happen to run into during my walks on the beach were all so very kind & helpful. Overall, my visit was spectacular and was everything I was looking for and more :)

We hosted a girls weekend away at Kim’s cottage & it was perfect for our group of 5! The outdoor space & beach front of stunning! Highly recommend it.

L’emplacement est tout simplement WoW ! La plage est magnifique et d’être située directement sur celle ci, c’est merveilleux! La distance entre la rue principale et le chalet est parfaite, assez près pour y aller à pied avec les enfants et assez loin pour être tranquille. Nous y étions 2 familles de 4 et l’espace était suffisant pour qu’on y soit tous bien ! Shelly est très accueillante et toujours disponible au besoin !!!

Paradise found with this Lake Huron retreat. Lorraine is a superb host. Upstairs master bedroom with en-suite bath and closet is spacious and can easily sleep a family of 5. Sunsets are incredible over the water. So much space to relax and unwind inside and out. Games room in garage was a great bonus for kids and adults to enjoy. Would highly recommend property and host!!

Great location.

We had a wonderful friend weekend at Jennifer's Lake house. Stunning sunsets, tons of room and space for the children to play. Her place was clean and the layout easily fit multiple families. The frozen lake was a one of a kind view and the kids loved having a bonfire overlooking the ice and lake. We hope to come here again in the future. We really enjoyed the lake view from the large windows and being located so close to Bayfield's town center. Would highly recommend for larger groups who are looking for a peaceful and fun weekend away. Thanks so much Jennifer :)

We had the most wonderful visit at Dewey's cottage. When we entered the house, we were greeted with the fresh smell of a clean house! There were 2 bedrooms on the main floor, and two in the basement. We were two families, so this set up was perfect, as it allowed each family to have some privacy. The pool, big yard and trampoline were all a hit with our kids. The kitchen was stocked with lots of cutlery, plates, cooking items and basic condiments. The beach was within walking distance - and the view of the lake could be seen from the house which was breathtaking. We absolutely loved our stay. Highly recommend!

The cottage was exactly as described and perfect for our group of 7 adults and 3 kids. It's a great new cottage with loads of room and very well equipped inside and out and very clean. Our host Graham was so easy to communicate with and very timely in responding to all questions. Being right on the beach was so great and the beach chairs and paddle boards and kayaks and fire pit made it even better. Tim August 2024

It was a delightful experience from start to finish. The cottage offered great lake views on the water’s edge, especially during sunrise and sunset. The outdoor space was the highlight of our stay. There was also a fire pit, which made for cozy evenings under the stars. The property had direct access to the water, allowing for easy swimming and kayaking. The owners provided kayaks and life jackets, which was a nice touch and added to the overall experience.
