Surveyors Cottage - a quiet retreat by the sea

Unwind at Surveyor’s Cottage, a quiet seaside hideaway where water, sky, and mountain views meet at your doorstep The cottage is modest, with all you need for a comfortable stay — two bedrooms, full kitchen, and a wood fire with plenty of firewood to keep you warm. There’s coffee to start the day, and space to sit, read, and watch the light dance across the water. This is a place to slow down. Walk straight to the beach, linger on the deck at sunset, or fall asleep to the rhythm of the waves.

Take a break and unwind at peaceful dog friendly My Verona. Wake up to the sound of waves softly rolling on the shore. Open the bedroom curtains and step out onto your balcony overlooking Bruny and Huon Islands. Embrace beach life, less than a hundred metres away at Pick Up Beach, go for a swim or wander over to Charlotte Cove. Borrow our sea kayak, or if you prefer just stay put, have a drink or BBQ on the verandah then a soak in the hot tub star gazing & if you're really lucky an aurora.

Riverside Cottage

Relax at this unique and tranquil getaway. Riverside Cottage is a rustically restored historic pickers hut on the mighty Huon River. With incredible character the cottage has been tastefully turned into a cozy place for a restful stay. The property sits on a 6 acre homestead with expansive manicured gardens to roam and has direct access to fishing, swimming, kayaking or exploring along the river’s edge. Pizza cooking facilities, fire pits and plenty of seating dotted around the grounds.
