Cosy old cottage, close to Huntly train station

A quiet, end-terrace cottage in Huntly, off the main streets but in easy walking distance to the train station and town centre. The cosy living room is fitted with an efficient log burning stove, and you will find a basket of wood on your arrival. The kitchen is located at the back of the building with access to a small, enclosed garden perfect for a slow breakfast in the sun or an evening drink on the lawn. The bathroom is accessible via a stairways upstairs. We look forward to hosting you!

We are surrounded by hills, heather, wildlife, castles, golf courses, distilleries and a host of family friendly amenities all within easy reach by car. Also, there are the stunning coastlines of Aberdeenshire and Morayshire, many with long sandy beaches where you can often spot seals and dolphins.

The Bonnie Wee Cottage snuggled at the bottom of Bennachie’ Close to Wedding Venues and Castle/Whisky Trails with Stunning Garden. Michelle Marie’s cosy abode is located in the centre of the quaint hamlet of Oyne, Aberdeenshire in the North East of Scotland. Right in the centre of Aberdeenshire so ideal for adventurers! This charming wee granite cottage is snuggled into the idyllic countryside in the shadow of the local landmark, Bennachie, a large hill range which dominates the landscape.

The Castle Byre

The 'Byre' is a luxury self catering cottage within a former barn at historic Parkhead Farm. It sits just 200m from the ruins of Auchindoun Castle and has unsurpassed views to the castle on the hill. Being of contemporary open plan design, it retains the traditional look of the original barn interior with large exposed roof trusses and natural stonework. Underfloor heating provides discrete background warmth and there is a modern wood burning stove to give an enhanced level of cosiness.

Forglen Estate-Forglen Lodge

The Lodge can sleep up to 6 people. It has a lovely Scottish heritage feel inside and lots of architectural character on the outside. The mantel for the open fire inside was made from elm wood grown on the estate and there is some history to be discovered about the external features . Beautiful stone cottage, with open views over the hills. very warm and cosy with excellent heating and a coal fire. a real home from home, right in the heart of Speyside distilleries and the whisky trail. Close to the village of Aberlour and all amenities attached I have an outdoor seating area At the front for morning sun and my back garden is perfect for sunset and to cook from my charcoal barbecue available for use close to the kitchen at the back doorstep
