Originally the site of a log cabin in the 1790s, the home now boasts 3 en-suite bedrooms and a multitude of gathering spaces, including large fenced-in yard with firepit. Easily access historic canal and railroad sites, miles of river and hiking trails, state game lands, and even get to a PSU game in 45 minutes!

Wooded Sanctuary at Raystown Lake

A wooded sanctuary with all the cozy comforts, situated near the peaceful Hawns Run of Raystown Lake and minutes from downtown Huntingdon. Pets welcome for an additional fee. Kayaks and other water craft available, along with foosball, air hockey and a slack line swing set! A rental agreement and water sport waiver are required upon reservation. By signing the agreement, guests acknowledge they will abide by the Juniata Township Short Term Rental Ordinance No. 2023-2, detailed in Section 8.

The School House

This pet- friendly refurbished schoolhouse in central PA offers the best of both worlds...just a short drive to Penn State football games (22 miles), yet tucked away for a quiet retreat. The upstairs is like a cozy studio apartment with all the essentials of studio space living, while the downstairs features a spacious bedroom and inviting reading area, perfect for unwinding after a busy day. The one room open space utilizes furniture and shelves to create separate bedroom and living spaces.
