This is the best spot in town! "Buttercup Cottage" is a newly renovated, cozy, 1940's bungalow with upscale decor, located on historic Main Street in the victorian village of Ferndale. Restaurants, shops, hiking trails, and live music are simply steps away. It's minutes to the beach and redwoods. This is the optimal setting for escaping summer heat or winter snow. Hello! This is the main house only that sleeps 6. It is within walking distance of the Benbow Inn bar and restaurant. It has a salt water pool, chlorine-free hot tub and an outdoor dining area with bbq! The parking is paved and RV accessible. Enjoy Southern Humboldts beautiful views and upgraded kitchen, dining, sitting and living room. It has a 24 hour backup generator for emergencies so that you will never be without heat, power, laundry and a gas range and oven!

The River Haven

Kick back and relax in our cozy home on the Lost Coast. It features a fun outdoor space with grill station, fire pit, hammock, and lawn games. It's a short walk to the Mattole River where you can take a dip in the clear water, bask in the sun, take a spin on the paddle board, or cast a fly. The home is centrally located with easy access to the town of Petrolia, the Lost Coast Trail, King Range National Conservation Area, and Humboldt Redwoods State Park.
