I needed a little break from my every day Vermont life. This was the perfect spot to get away from everything, but still not be far from home. I would definitely go back! Thank you so much!

The yurt itself is very small and rustic, but with a sturdy bed, warm linens, and a nice view out the window. The walk to the common spaces is short and easy, leading through some beautiful gardens to get to the sauna/bathhouse/kitchen/firepit/parking area. The bathhouse and kitchen were clean, heated, spacious, and comfortable. Kyle had small, electric lanterns stored in the kitchen for our nighttime use, which was a lovely touch. We loved making a fire and counting the stars, and appreciated the friendliness and respectfulness of the other guests in the space. There are lots of great places nearby to eat and drink, and we loved being so close to so many trailheads and the entrance to Minnewaska State Park for hiking. We hope to come back soon!

This place exceeded our expectations from the listing! Kyle & staff were very friendly & helpful when it came to questions we had during the checkin/checkout process. Firewood was stocked on the facility, so we were easily able to set up the fire pit for communal use. We stayed in the south yurt, which had a gas heating stove (not wooded). It kept us really toasty during the cold weather this past weekend (at night it was 30-40 °F). I’m glad we got the yurt with heating. The sauna was also a wonderful touch to the facility for the cold weather. Showers & bathrooms were very clean. We didn’t cook that much during our stay, but the communal kitchen had many appliances & utensils, for those who planned to cook. Would 100% recommend this location for a nice getaway.

My daughter and I loved Bonna’s place ! It was so peaceful and relaxing. We were completely surrounded by nature. The location was perfect, my daughter was riding at the Huntington Horse Farm, it was a quick drive from the yurt. Bonna was very quick to answer all of my questions. and was super flexible with check in and departure. We were lucky to meet her on our last night, it was wonderful to talk about how her space came to be what it is today. The yurt was a perfect little get away for us. We cannot wait to go back next time we are in the area. I loved exploring this part of Vermont, Bonna’s property is a magical place.

The yurt was the perfect quiet escape! Jonathan was so kind and welcoming and made us feel right at home. The sauna and natural pool were a highlight of the trip, and listening to the rain inside the cozy yurt was such a treat. We hope to stay again!

Wonderful!! Bonna's place is well-stocked and thoughtfully arranged, and she is the best. The area is also wonderful for hiking and outdoor fun. Highly recommend!

My husband and I absolutely loved the atmosphere and the vibe provided! We had a great weekend away and loved how we felt close enough to all the happenings in town but far enough out that it was a quiet, nice, safe neighborhood. I took advantage of all that Sheri had to offer and would definitely be back again!

The yurt was once in a life time experience all must have. It was nice cozy and warm the entire time. The view from the mountains and surroundings was beautiful. We drove around quiet a few farms and found a lot of healthy products. The host was wonderful, she went above and beyond, very accommodating. Helped us with any questions we had, guided us step by step making sure my family was safe and enjoyed their stay. We will surely be back for more adventure.

My wife and I had a relaxing day/night for her birthday . The host Shannon was very friendly and accommodating. She even set up flowers and cake for the occasion. Very warm and cozy with the wood burning stove set up , would recommend for a peaceful getaway .

We had such a wonderful stay at Yuris! The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The host was proactive with all of their info and very helpful/responsive during our stay. Would love to return at a later date :)

The yurt was the absolute perfect getaway. It had everything we wanted and needed. The outdoor shower was beyond my expectations. I’ve stayed in places with outdoor showers that were very glitchy and not warm. This one was so functional and nice and warm against the cool autumn air. There were even cute trails behind the yurt. The wood stove was so magical as well and Craig & Karen were so kind and responsive. 5 stars all around - if you’re thinking of booking this place, DO IT!!!

Cathy and Axel’s yurt was a dream! Not only was it extremely beautiful— it also had everything in anything you could need while staying away from home. The hot tub was a beautiful addition to enjoy while looking up at the night sky. We are so pleased with our stay. They also granted us one extra hour/a delayed checkout. I would absolutely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway to disconnect and enjoy the sounds of nature. 100/10 ♥️

This cabin truly exceeded our expectations! It was incredibly clean, well-equipped with everything we needed, and had such a cozy, welcoming vibe. My child absolutely loved it here—we felt right at home. The little creek nearby was a fun surprise and added to the charm of the place. It’s definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!

very remote and quiet. easy to find. not much around there, but there's a brewery (Beer Diviner), a Mexican restaurant, a market/deli and a Cumberland Farms within 10-15 mins. Bring some kindling if it's wet, bring a radio. It was a really cool place to stay. Hopefully we will get back there to do some hiking. It snowed when we went! If you want quiet, a stream, a fire, and disconnect a bit, this is a fantastic place.

We adored this space - natural, calm, and friendly vibe. The yurt was very spacious and bright with many lighting options. On a chilly fall evening we found that the wood stove had been stocked and lit already - much appreciated!

Expect a calm, intimate space for rest and relaxation surrounded by nature. The owners practice a truly holistic lifestyle which very much reflects in the impressive area they’ve built and the overall experience, lending to its authenticity. This airbnb is for people who enjoy nature, hiking, dogs (there are two on the premise) and generally disconnecting. If you’re not looking for this, it may not be the place for you. If you do find it appealing — this place will definitely deliver. The owners were also great and responsive to any requests and recommendations.

Beyond pleased with the rental. We were looking for a weekend to “reconnect” as a family. Despite a few complaints from our children (no WiFi/poor cell reception/no tv = exactly what we were looking for), our family had a relaxing weekend away. The wood stove was awesome and the detached bathhouse was great. Everything was here for us to use. Wish the weather was a little nicer for us to explore the property (didn’t stop the kids), but all in all it was real nice. The area is super quiet and there were plenty of tea to choose from just about 15-20 minutes away. Highly recommend Ashley’s for dessert! Will be coming back here!

Great and spacious place, with many amenities. Offers an amazing view of the stars! Located a fairly quick drive from various towns. Throughly enjoyed our short but sweet stay!

Great weekend getaway for us and our dog. Wonderful spot for fires and walks on the property. The Yurt was very nice and wondering to sleep in during a thunderstorm. Nice low key low maintenance place to get away! Will come again.

We had a memorable stay at Loomis Lair and look forward to a longer return visit. Michael's thoughtful recommendations for local hikes, restaurants and an exceptional bakery significantly enhanced our visit to the region. I've already suggested this very special retreat to family and friends.
