This is a great central location for many of Maine's greatest attractions and places to visit as well as events to attend. We are only 21 miles from the University of Maine, Orono (UMO), 36 mi to great destinations like Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park and 7 miles from Interstate 95. We are 2 hr drive from Portland ME (Maine's largest city) filled with 100's of restaurants, pubs, Shopping, lighthouse, Botanical Gardens, art district...thatres and museums. Tranquil cabin; open plan. Bedroom w/queen bed & privacy doors. Alcove w/bunkbeds. The Cabins at Currier Landing, featured in Dwell as “Three Magical Tiny Cabins Take Root in a Maine Forest,” are located on the Thos. Currier Saltwater Farm. Glimpses of water & access to 300’ of the Benjamin River Harbor shore. 2 seasonal cabins; 1 studio cabin. Centrally located on the Blue Hill Peninsula near Deer Isle, the cabins offer access to outdoor activities, cultural events, restaurants & shops.

My Blue Heaven

The cabin is totally renovated with new appliances. Very cute and cozy, perfect for couples looking for a romantic get away. Jenkins Beach is closed for renovations this summer but you can still rent/launch boats there for a small fee. The cabin has WiFi and two TV’s, one has Apple TV, the other has streaming services as well and both have DVD players. Our cabin is not childproof, so not suitable for children under 5. Please look closely at the pictures if you’re bringing a small child.

Farm stay in a cozy yurt

Want to be surrounded by nature? Listen to animal sounds? Eat quality food? You're in the right place! The yurt has a full bed. It has electricity for lights and a hot plate. Pots, pans and utensils are available. The compost toilets are in the back. There is no running water inside but we provide a drinking fountain and foot pump sink. An outdoor shower is available near our house. The distance between parking and the yurt is about 150 yards. Petting goats or sheep available. .
