Welcome to Oro. Boutique, private, fully self contained accomodation set within an old tobacco barn. Situated just 20 minutes from Bright, this masterpiece of Australian landscape is cradled by mountains, Happy Valley Creek and 20 acres of delightful farmland. Take a verandah seat to watch the morning mist quietly rise. Observe the abundant wildlife who are happy to call Oro home, or be intoxicated by the afternoon ‘golden hour’. Oro, a place of provision, unfolding beauty, rest and refreshment.

Shopfront accomodation in the main street

The Lighthouse at 113 Albury Street is situated in the main street of Holbrook close to shops and eateries and 35mins to Albury. A unique stay in that it is an original residence totally renovated to suit the needs of our guests. Building erected around 1905 of timber construction for the purpose of a jewellery store, funeral directors and nursery. It was not lived in for around 10yrs. We were lucky enough to purchase the property in 2017............... The upstairs bedroom is a mezzanine floor.

Avalon Farmstay. Quiet cottage on working farm

Stay in a restored farm house with all the charm of its 101 years and the comfort of modern conveniences. Situated on a working sheep and cropping farm on the outskirts of the country village of The Rock, we're 30min from Wagga CBD, 25 min to Kapooka, 1hr from Albury, and in the heart of Lockhart Shire. The house boasts 3 generous bedrooms accommodating up to 7 guests. All rooms have views to country vistas and The Rock over the fields. Full kitchen, bathroom laundry & plenty of outdoor space.

It feels like a private country retreat but is only 2km to the Main Street, where you can enjoy breakfast at fantastic cafe’s, bakery, museums, antique shops, Carberry Park, supermarket, etc

'Seven Trees Cottage' Rural Retreat
