Welina mai to Hale Malu, a light-filled home of peaceful refuge, with three bedrooms and two baths, wood-burning fireplace (wood provided), and spacious fully-stocked kitchen with modern amenities (a cook's dream). Enjoy the views of Mauna Kea and the Pacific Ocean while lounging on the fully-screened deck. Your hosts live downstairs on the first floor, ready to help with any questions or concerns. Aloha! Hawaii Sun Kissed Studio Private Entrance

Our home is located in Hilo (Waiakea Uka) higher elevation cooler area. This agriculture neighborhood consists of 3 plus acre lots, farm animals and lots of pasture land. Our guest will enjoy a peaceful country like retreat stay. The studio is comfortable, spacious and bright. Full bathroom shower/toilet, full kitchen/dishes (see pictures). The studio has two sliding glass doors; main entrance overlooks the court yard/Lanai, other door opens to a balcony over looking three acres of pasture.

Old School Hospitality

This spacious ground-floor apartment can sleep four very comfortably. It has two bedrooms, one bathroom, living room, dining area, an indoor waterfall, and stocked kitchen, There is a beautiful lanai that overlooks a large koi pond and spacious, manicured grounds. We call the property Old School Hospitality because it was built from recycled materials from the old Hakalau School. Much of the house's charm comes from the unique materials used in construction.

This extraordinary property is across the street from Hilo beaches, with multiple Ka Wai Ola, (Living Springs). Ocean views and the sweet sound of waves breaking. There are pristine ponds on the property where you can swim and lounge in privacy. A new security system looks out from the house to the grounds and street beyond. No cameras see the house or lanai.
