The apartment is a self contained living space that is very well appointed with bespoke furniture, fittings and original art. It has all of its own amenities so you should want for nothing. It is located two minutes from downtown Hilo. If you want you can walk to everything, including; shops, restaurants, beaches, bars, yoga studios, gyms and so on. If you are over 5' 10" you will need to mind your head in a couple of places so please be aware of this. We are always looking to improve.

Hilo Town on the Water

This property sits on Kalanianaole Park which is on Hilo Bay. Sit on the back porch and soak in the beautiful view. The Ice Pond is next door ( a local swimming spot) and connects to the ocean. Close to town, just 2 miles from the airport close to shopping and restaurants. We are in a busy area and there is noise but the location is convenient and the house is well equipped. If you are sensitive to noise this is not your house. If you want charm on the ponds of Hilo this is your house!

Newer Beach House in Hilo's Best Location. Turtles

Hilo's best location is at Richardson's Beach Park on south Hilo bay. Best snorkeling on this side of the island across the street. This home is obviously unique and has even been featured on HGTV's Off Beat American & The Travel Channel, but it is the land itself that we fell in love with. This all-concrete house is ocean front and perched on a lava cliff at Kehena Point. The Point sticks out into the ocean further than the surrounding lava cliffs and offers unparalleled views of the coast in both directions. Watch whales in season (November-April), and walk to a black sand beach.
