Rainbow Creek was curated for lovers and adventurers. Nestled on the edge of the rainforest in Kalang, you are immersed in nature - birdsong, glow worms and a million stars at night. We are far enough from Bellingen to feel like you have truly escaped but close enough to go out for a romantic dinner or a relaxed breakfast and coffee in the morning.

King's Cottage Uralla

Relax in a slice of Uralla's history. King's Cottage, circa 1886 has been lovingly restored and renovated, offering guests the charm of yesteryear, coupled with modern day conveniences. Each bedroom features a period gas flame fireplace, as well as the bathroom where you can lay back in the bath gazing in to the fire as you relax. The cottage also features gas central heating throughout and an expansive sunroom/dining and lounge area has its own dedicated wood burner, for those cosy evenings.

"Birdsong @ Girralong" - Secluded forest cabin

Relax, unplug and unwind in nature. Birdsong is a haven for birdwatching, observing native wildlife and bushwalking. The cabin is nestled on a 100 acre property, in a secluded valley, surrounded by forest and adjoining nature reserve, with views to the surrounding hills. We invite you to come and enjoy a tranquil break in the heart of nature, brimming with native wildlife. Sit on the covered veranda and experience serenity or wander down to the crystal clear flowing river with swimming hole.

With panoramic views out to the Dorrigo escarpment, this is the perfect location to both celebrate special occasions, and to create them. Surrounded by State Forest and complete serenity, though only 10 mins from restaurants/cafes, and groceries, here you will wake to the sound of birds, and very little else, the peace is outstanding. Riverside Homestead at The Hatch Farm Stay

Warm your toes by the outdoor firepit in the evenings as you gaze at the stars & roast a marshmallow. The Hatch Farm is an off-grid river front working farm with chickens, ducks, pigs, sheep, goats, mini horses, cows, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits and dogs! There is plenty to do & see around the farm from complete relaxation, interacting with the friendly animals, casting a line, launching your boat from our rustic boat ramp, using our kayaks in the saltwater river, or lighting your own campfire!

Highlands Lodge

Highlands Lodge is a magnificent stone and timber chalet nestled amongst 150 year old deciduous English Elm and many other European Trees. It is beautiful year round but particularly in Autumn. Located at Black Mountain (approx. half way between Sydney and Brisbane) in the heart of the beautiful New England Region, it is only 25 minutes north of Armidale and 10 minutes south of Guyra. Set on a working Sheep and Cattle property, Highlands Lodge is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Only minutes away from the Armidale pine forest which has plenty of mountain bike & walking tracks. Or you can choose to sit and relax and watch the local wildlife at Dunroamin. It comes with a deck for your private use and uninterrupted views of the breathtaking sunset. We will be on hand for any advice or help but you will be left to enjoy your stay. A short drive from the Dorrigo township and National Park, but otherwise serenely secluded on our 50-acre property. Idyllic farm cabin.
