오가와마치의 리처드 플레빈 저택〈한지(和紙)의 집〉

와지 아티스트, 리처드 플레빈 씨의 자택에 오신 것을 환영합니다! 리처드 씨(1943년 - 2020년)는 미국 출신의 와지 작가입니다. 보스턴에서 디자인을 공부하고, 병역으로 한국에 파견 중 휴가로 방문한 일본의 매력에 끌려 1970년에 다시 일본으로 왔습니다. 이후 도쿄 예술대학 대학원에서 목판화를 공부하며 와지 제조법에도 깊은 관심을 가지게 되어 사이타마현 오가와마치로 이주했습니다. 마을 제지 공업 시험장에서 수제 와지 기술을 습득하고, 직접 와지닥나무를 재배하며 와지 제작부터 작품 제작까지 일관되게 손수 처리했습니다. 집 곳곳에 한지를 활용한 아름다운 디자인이 적용되어 있습니다. 또한 리처드 씨가 수집한 귀중한 골동품들도 전시되어 독특한 정취를 자아냅니다. 이 집은 리처드 씨가 마지막 거처로 정성을 다해 만들어낸 그의 작품 그 자체입니다.일부 미완성 부분도 있습니다. 한지와 예술에 관심 있는 분들께 이 〈한지 미술관〉 같은 공간을 꼭 숙박하며 감상해 주셨으면 합니다.

A house in Yorii Town ✨ Nearby are Hanazono Outlet, Saitama Quest, and Chichibu Nagatoro, recommended for travel with children or to refresh your mind and body. If you are coming by car, there is a free private parking lot for up to 3 cars on the premises. By train, it is an 11-minute walk from Obusuma Station on the Tobu Tojo Line (about 2 hours from Tokyo Station). Please experience peace of mind at “Inn PAP”, where “calmness” is the concept.

The Camping Yard is a facility designed for both those who like to camp and those who don't like to camp to enjoy it easily. You can put up your favorite tent and enjoy bonfires and BBQ. There are natural hot spring facilities and restaurants serving local food within a 15-minute drive, and a famous local yakiniku restaurant is a 1-minute walk away. Meat can be provided upon request for an extra charge!

Crafted with domestically sourced Japanese timber, it features a traditional Tatami room and beautifully blends Japanese and Western architectural styles which several Japanese Media featured in TV. 東瀛莊苑は東京都会を離れ35㎞の豊かな自然環境に新築300坪庭を持つガーデン民泊施設です。庭中に野菜や果樹を創って農業の体験できる畑はあり、ファミリー家族や友人グループはピクニックにバーベキューパーティーを行うなら最適 場所である。 東瀛荘苑は近隣日本の第一国立森林公園、ゴルフ場、温泉、射撃場、子供動物園、牡丹園などで観光の価値がある。ちなみに埼玉クエストと15㎞程車で約20分着くからオリンピック大会に参加する各国のスノーボード選手達が訓練するために合宿所として、東瀛荘苑をご利用しに来た人々は多いです。 東瀛荘苑の駐車場は6台車で無料駐車できます、 宿泊施設では快適と便利な楽しみのご宿泊を提供できます。

300坪の敷地にプライベートプールがあるお洒落なガーデンのあるビラです。貸切定員和室16畳6名。ガーデンでプールとBBQ、夜はイルミネーションが仲間同士、家族同士で蜜にならないガーデンで楽しめます。調理器具がついていますので、食材、調味料をご持参頂くだけで簡単にBBQが出来ます。アイドルグループのミュージックビデオ、プロモーションビデオ、雑誌、撮影にも利用されているビラですが、商業目的用撮影にはairbサイトからは予約できません。サウナ＆富士山展望露天風呂、秋より設置予定
