Our place is fully self-contained. The beautiful original cobble stone floors, high ceilings with its rafters, french doors and modern interior create a light and warm loft-style feeling.

Rahui has 3 houses on it, We are in the front house. You may see us walking about, or quad bikes. Rent the ebikes for a sweet as ride to the coast. Two great pubs near by

Our place is a unique architectural designed passive solar, straw bale home with recycled native wood and natural clay finish. Enjoy the warmth, peaceful feel and views of the beautiful Maraetotara valley and relax in the natural spring water hot tub. The 30 sqm studio is located within the main house, has a separate entrance, private deck and parking with EV charger. Kitchen with toaster, microwave, fridge, induction cooktop and electric BBQ on deck. Breakfast pack for the first day.

Situated in the side garden by the main house on a privately owned sheep farm (42 acres). Stunning views across the valley from behind the yurt and mountain views from the beautiful native garden surrounding the house. Guest bathroom is inside the main house. Breakfast is included and dinner is available at request and additional charge from my fully licenced food truck. Local superette 5mins drive away in the village, several nearby bush walks and wineries within a 15 min drive.

The Last Church in Apiti

The Last Church in Āpiti is the ultimate escape to relax and discover the stunning Manawatū. In 2021, we were recognised by the NZ Herald as one of the top wellness retreats to visit. Located in the quaint village of Āpiti, set in a valley at the base of the Ruahine Ranges, this renovated Sunday School is a cosy and quirky base to explore the ranges, glow worms, swimming holes, and more. It's just a 10 minute walk to the shops, cafes, theatre and is handy to the cycle trails of Central Hawkes Bay. The beaches and Ruahine Ranges are not far away and it's only a 30 - 40 minute drive to Hastings or Napier.
