Enjoy the beauty of Loch Voil, explore the hills or watch the wildlife. Unwind in the wood-fired hot tub or retreat to the Nordic-style BBQ hut* to round off the day (*subject to availability).

Muin Shepherd Hut currently has building works being carried out some 25m to the rear for the new Kilchoan Community Shop (please see exterior pics for proximity). Muin comes complete with: a 2kw Shower (2 minutes of hot water/5 minutes to re-heat) toilet, sink, Belfast sink, fridge, ceramic hob, Air Fryer, underfloor heating, wood burning stove, TV, Double bed with King size duvet, decked area, enclosed private garden (dog friendly) and views over to the Isles of Mull and Atlantic Ocean.

Here is our new well kitted out Pod.It has underfloor heating,hot water,two ring induction hob,fridge/freezer,kettle,toaster,fixed double bed,and sofa bed.For your comfort it has toilet,wash hand basin and shower.Also WiFi,alexa, tv/dvd,amazon fire stick (netflix/childrens tv etc).It is very comfortable and cosy, with super soft fluffy fleece bedding and a pure wool duvet. It also has a bbq area with seating and fire pit for chilled out evenings. The pod is at the end of a quiet village.

Below a pond and tucked behind a hedgerow on the edge of a permaculture smallholding, our charming shepherds hut is the perfect hideaway for those looking for an eco farm stay or self-made retreat. 'Muggans' (named after the Mugwort that grows by the steps) is entirely off-grid and has everything you'll need for a comfortable and memorable getaway, including a wood burning stove to keep you cozy, a wood fired hot tub to soak in under the stars and pizza oven for luxury campfire cooking.

Shepherd's Hut near Oban

Get away from it all in our shepherd's hut located just outside the village of Connel and only a ten minute drive from the bustling seaside town of Oban. The accommodation is located on our family croft (we live on site near to the shepherds hut) with ducks, hens, Hebridean sheep and our two ponies as your closest neighbours. We are surrounded by abundant wildlife such as pine martens and red deer and have outstanding views over unspoiled countryside towards the slopes of Ben Cruachan.

An Àirigh is a traditional shepherd's hut located in the crofting township of Borve. Just 4 miles from the island's capital of Portree, the cosy cabin is the perfect base for touring the island, hill walking, enjoying the many activities Skye has to offer, or simply relaxing and enjoying the view. Newly installed in 2021, the Cabin (often called a Storm Pod) is a self-contained luxury haven. Perched beside a small fresh-water loch and overlooking Loch Boisdale. It has a double bed, and a two small bunk type beds. Cooking facilities and a separate shower with WC. Outside there's a fenced courtyard with great Hebridean views for your enjoyment. Although there is sleeping for 4 available, the accommodation is more suited to couples or single occupancy.

The Shepherd's Hut on Eigg

The cosy Shepherd's Hut combines the best of past traditions with the comfort of today. Inside is everything you need for a comfortable cosy night's sleep, but still with enough space to relax during the day. Eigg is a beautiful island with spectacular beaches, wildlife, archaeological sites, interesting geology and a vibrant island community. The island is very popular with landscape and wildlife photographers.
