Walking distance to Taradale, Mission/Church Road Wineries, from the veranda and Hot tub you’ll love the stunning 270-degree country to ocean view out into Hawke Bay including Mahia Peninsula and Cape Kidnappers. Wake at dawn and from the veranda watch the sun rise out of the Pacific. Our place is an elevated lifestyle block, we don't charge a cleaning fee. We have pets 1 cat, sheep, chickens. A cross trainer is available or rent our Bikes @ $5 per hour, $15 a half day or $25 per full day, each.

Situated on the sunny side of the hill "The Large House" is one of the oldest homes in Napier. Built in the 1880's it has grand rooms, ornate fireplaces, high ceilings, spacious balconies and is surrounded by a wild organic garden which is very secluded. We serve a full breakfast in the conservatory. Relax on the sun dappled balcony and experience sea views and birdsong whilst surrounded by large mature trees. A 10 minute STEEP walk to Marine Parade, central Napier and its many restaurants.

Enjoy the quiet area. Listen to all the native birds, swim in the pool, take a walk in our lovely area, or simply relax in the spacious cottage with a drink. Inside, go up the spiral stairs to the cozy mezzanine bedroom (please note that it's low up there). The unique stairs are from the old star observatory on Titirangi (the local maunga/mountain)! The sofa bed in the lounge can sleep 2. There is no kitchen, but there is a kitchenette with microwave, toaster and kettle.
