This cottage is really nice and placed in a lovely garden. The interior is designed with love for details. The kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed to be there exploring the valley and the beauties of Coromandel peninsula. Keri is a friendly host and we can recommend the Bakehouse Cottage to all who enjoy countryside vacation.

We can best sum up Terence's place but saying that this is our 4th stay and each time is a good as the last. Terence makes it all so easy, from great communication to making sure there is enough firewood for the fire. Highly recommend

Thanks Jenny. The accommodation was perfect for our large extended family while attending a family wedding nearby. We enjoyed the proximity to stunning Coromandel haunts and took full advantage of what was on offer locally. Appreciated the late check out. Highly recommend.

Wonderful spot with an amazing view. Lots for the kids to do, Flint was a hit, as was the fire pit, pool, spa and creek. Checked our eel trap as we left and caught (and released) an eel, memorable end to a lovely family mini break. Thank you Yana.

We can’t speak highly enough of this BnB! Rustic charm meets clean and modern convenience. Nikki and her family have done an incredible job and the photos don’t do it justice. The area and surroundings are gorgeous and you will have complete privacy. Every detail has been meticulously considered. The bus is set up with everything you need to cook the basics, and a BBQ is also provided. The nearby pub offers a free shuttle and we were collected from our doorstop (thanks Nikki for the tip). The fireplace was a delight and easy to use. We also loved the surrounding walks and cow scenery. The property is versatile - we are a couple who stayed for one night (though wished we had time for more) and are already making plans to come back with some friends for a longer stay. We stayed for 2 weeks in Sarah and James’ place. The cottage was simple but comfortable. The basic kitchen was very adequate for the food preparation we did over our stay. Highlights were the spectacular views and cozy living room with terrific fireplace (wood burning stove) that we used on most nights. Sarah was very responsive and recommended several beautiful hikes and walking trails that started from their pasture land and went up a mountain for great views and meandered beside the local river. Waihi, the nearest town for shopping, was 15 minutes drive. Waihi Beach, a beautiful beach for relaxing, swimming, and walking was uncrowded and about 25 minutes drive. We really enjoyed our stay.

This house was a great spot for 2 families and dogs. Huge back yard for kids and animals to play in, a 3 story tree house to entertain the kids, lovely large front deck with all day sun. The house is modern, equipped with everything you would need for a short stay, cafe just across the road and very quick walk to the beach, dairy and fish and chip shop.

We loved our time here. Sharlene was helpful and we had no problems finding the house or while we were there The kitchen was supplied with so many extras including basic food items and cooking equipment etc. All the bedrooms were super comfortable and overall we felt totally at home. A special family time for us all. It rained the whole time we were there but we embraced the quiet and loved the bird life. A family of Tuis in the enormous Puriri tree kept us entertained! I would totally recommend to anyone.

Set off the beaten track, peaceful little place with a great outdoor area and spa, as well as pizza oven and bbq. Well kitted out kitchen and comfy beds. And some books and toys for our kids to play with. Thanks for having us!
