The Nissen

The Nissen is a spacious, light filled two bedroom holiday house overlooking the historic town of Castlemaine, aptly named for its resemblance to a World War II Nissen Hut. Enjoy the comfort of a wood fire and split system, fully equiped kitchen, and expansive views from the open plan living area. Wonderfully private and secluded considering its convenient central location, and featuring all modern appliances. Myrtle Creek Cottage

Down a country lane on the banks of Myrtle Creek and opposite the old red brick church, this completly private and self sufficient cottage attached to the main house is set in quiet paddocks where old red gums cast deep shade. Built in 2024 as an extension to our sustainable house, there is a stylish full kitchen and bathroom. A couple of Golden Retrievers are love and affection on legs and walks in the granite country are special. Or you can head to Bendigo, Castlemaine or local wineries

Pemberley Cottage

Pemberley Cottage is a tranquil self-contained accommodation experience located on a 700 acre grazing property just outside the quaint village of Malmsbury in the Macedon Ranges The stylish cottage provides spectacular water, mountain & farm views; the perfect place to unwind, soak in the outdoor bath, bask in the views or use as a base to explore nearby Kyneton & Daylesford. Guests can expect to be greeted by our inquisitive array of farm pets, including highland cows, sheep & chooks.

Plenty of room with a large living room, wood fire, tv / entertainment system, kitchen, deck including entertaining area and bbq downstairs. Upstairs there is another lounge / study, bedroom and toilet. The barn is another entertainment area with a pool table, table tennis, darts, library and a large screen tv all heated and air conditioned.

Set in the peaceful bushland of Fryerstown, Fryers hut is only 10 minutes from Castlemaine, 30 minutes from Daylesford and 5 minutes from Vaughan Springs. Excellent walking and mountain bike riding are at your doorstep or just relax at the hut and enjoy the garden, pool and sauna. In the heart of the Goldfields region there is plenty to explore including outdoor activities, the arts, festivals, historical sites and great cafes, restaurants and wineries.

The Hermitage (Cottage)

Unwind in this spacious two bedroom retreat. "The Hermitage" is a unique stone cottage just five minutes (4.5 km) from Castlemaine's town centre. Lovingly renovated to blend historic charm with modern comfort. Originally built during the gold rush of the 1850s, the cottage sits on 26 peaceful acres where kangaroos and horses graze nearby.
