Hancock, Frenchman's Bay Cottage

Frenchman’s Bay is right outside your window. With spectacular 180° views of Frenchman’s Bay and Mount Desert Island, this cottage is the perfect place to experience the best of coastal Maine. Located in the well-known community of Hancock Point, you’ll enjoy easy access to Acadia National Park and nearby attractions—all while soaking in a peaceful, quiet, and scenic setting. Spend your days hiking, biking, sailing, or kayaking—or simply relax and take in the ever-changing ocean views. The cottage features an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area, with two large sliding glass doors that look directly out onto the water. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full-size refrigerator, stove with microwave, Keurig, double sink, and ample counter space. You’ll also find plenty of cookware, utensils, dishes, and a gas grill for outdoor meals. The primary bedroom offers a comfortable king-size bed, generous closet space, and a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom includes two twin beds (a daybed with a trundle), suitable for both children and adults. Linens are provided. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, TVs with Blu-ray and a window A/C unit if needed. An outdoor shower with hot water has also been recently added—perfect after a day at the beach. Please note: This is a non-smoking property. Due to a rock wall with approximately a 10-foot drop, the cottage may not be suitable for toddlers or very young children. It is furnished with the amenities listed as well as a dock, swimming float, fire pit with firewood, gas grill, and table and chairs. Enjoy the peacefulness from the screened in porch which overlooks the lake after a day of hiking in Acadia National Park. You will hear the call of the loons while relaxing.
