This charming venue is perfect for a brief social escape, offering a cozy atmosphere ideal for gathering with friends. With its inviting ambiance and friendly vibe, it provides an excellent setting for relaxed conversations and enjoyable moments.

We enjoyed staying here. There was space for the four kids, downstairs pool table, ping pong, basketball, etc. Yard had a nice tire and regular porch style swing that we loved. My 20 month old was able to walk around and be a toddler. I found blankets so I could easily make a pallet for my 7 month old in the living room to play. For nighttime, we had our room, the tween girls had a room with a tv, we brought two pack and plays and set the babies up in the 3rd room. It was quiet and roomy. We just all left our doors open at night. Noones tv bothered anyone else. There was jenga too. The openness of kitchen/living was something my family enjoyed. There’s a washer and dryer, which was helpful. I couldn’t get the remote to work in the main bedroom, but it didn’t take me long at all to find batteries in a drawer in the kitchen, and get it working. There is coffee and that’s always needed. We will def. be back at this nice, quiet spot when we have more time for this home away from home.

A super clean and relaxing Airbnb.

This place is beautiful. It looks even better in person than the photos. The entire property is so pretty and peaceful. The living area is really large and it worked perfectly for our large family event in the area. We had a nice big place to hang out after the event. We used the kitchen to feed up to ten people with no issues. A note for coffee drinkers - you don't need filters for the coffee maker, it has a reusable one. We did run out of paper towels, and there wasn't enough dishwasher soap for how often we used the kitchen, so we had to provide our own. There also wasn't access to any cleaning materials so when we had a spill on the carpet we had to get our own cleaning supplies for it. That's not the owner's responsibility, just wanted to point it out for those coming later. You're going to love your stay here!

Dalton’s property is a gem. It was the most picturesque cottage just like in the pictures and has the surroundings. We enjoyed biking and saying hello to the horses on the nearby farm, watching cows graze lazily and laughing with the energetic dog who was eager to match our pace from the other side of a neighboring fence. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable and the decor was gracefully done. One thing to note is there is no central heating here. We loved the proximity to the gulf coast and enjoyed beach hopping from biloxi to Bay st Louis. New Orleans was just over an hour away and the nearest beach was just a little over 20 minutes away. The restaurants in biloxi, Diamondhead and Bay st Louis deserve special mention. We did have a small leak in the faucet during our stay but Dalton came and fixed it as soon as he could. Overall I think this is a fantastic location and Dalton has done a great job making it a special place to create memories.

We spent just over a week here and enjoyed it so much that we were already planning our next trip before we ever left! Situated less than a mile from the beautiful Waveland beach, you're far enough away from any crowds to enjoy the peace and quiet of a private space but still just minutes from all the best amenities. You can spend your day between the beach, fantastic local restaurants, and some sweet local shops and attractions. End your day sitting on the screened in back porch and listening to the birds and sounds of nature. The whole time we were here it felt like time slowed down a little. We can't wait to be back!

Chickies Cottage is a quiet and serene place to stay. The animals were fun to watch. Our kids loved petting the mini horse. It was such a break from our chaotic move from a different state. We would recommend this place to all of our family and friends. Thank you, Lavonne!

I literally fell in love with the home. We had a party of 14 with enough personal space for everyone. The bathrooms were clean and spacious as well. Demi (family dog) enjoyed the backyard while we sat for a breeze. The home was laid out so well that I want to rearrange my home the same way lol. Great recommendation.

Our stay was perfect. We walked to shops and restaurants. We loved the balcony for morning coffee.
