Stunning mountain views & bush garden to relax in

Had a most wonderful stay here - the pictures don't do it justice! The space is absolutely amazing with huge windows looking out into gorgeous bush and the rock formations in the distance. It was peaceful, full of wildlife and an incredibly lovely space to spend a weekend, we definitely wanted to stay longer! Kitchen was well equipped, and had a spacious fridge for lots of people's groceries. We made use of the outdoor dining area which was divine to spend mornings and afternoons, and the living room, though looking small, easily accommodated 5 adults for movie nights 😊 Jane was responsive and graciously allowed us a later check-out, and was there for any questions we had. The only thing that could have slightly been improved was the cleanliness, the bed quilts a bit dirty and the house a bit dusty, but nothing that got in the way of our stay overall.

Our stay at Adam and Peps was the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in and all 5 of us agreed! It was an absolutely beautiful place with heaps of room, very clean and tidy, and the hot tub and outdoor fire pit was a highlight! The beautiful vineyard and scenery around made us not want to leave to go on the amazing hikes around the Grampians which were all a very close drive away! It was private and extremely good value. Adam was super responsive with any questions and willing to help out with suggestions if needed. We are already planning when we can come back next! Highly recommend!

Immaculate accommodation with the best views! And lots of little marsupial buddies hanging out, making sure we behaved ourselves! It’s a light, bright and spacious home, absolutely spotless and great location - was nice and quiet but only a few minutes walk to Main Street. We loved our stay!

Lovely little tranquil home in a wonderful, close to town location with views of the Grampians out of every window. Kangaroos jumping by, and rosellas and kookaburras on the fences to greet you. Comfortable beds and all the amenities we needed for the perfect family getaway.

Naomi's house is a great way to visit Halls Gap especially with a dog. The house is large and clean, and the backyard for the dog is very secure. The location is very convenient to everything you need and close to the walking path that connects many parts of the area.

Loved our stay, easy walk/bike ride into town. House is in a very quiet area and right across the road from a national park, so lots of nice walking trails close by. Stephen's house was immaculate but also very child friendly. A list of house instructions, local things do and places to eat we're left for us, which was very helpful. Would come back in a heart beat. Thanks for having us!

The Van in the Bush

This place is such a little gem! A very secluded and peaceful location in the bush with a view of The Grampians right from the front door. The caravan has all the amenities you need for a nice and comfortable stay. Linda was super proactive with instructions and very responsive. I would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway!

Wendy was very understanding of our changing travel plans and put a light on so we weren’t arriving to a dark cabin. The cabin is so gorgeous with lots of lovely touches and the biscuit, cheese and fruit platter was spectacular with plenty left over for lunch today 😋 Thanks so much

Flowering Gum Tiny House

What a fantastic place to get away. The tiny home was in the middle of a large amount of private land where emus and kangaroos hang out most of the day, not to mention all of the beautiful birdlife and even spotted some deer! Laying in the outdoor bathtub whilst watching emus walk by going about their business was surreal. This was my first time staying at a tiny home and I didn’t know what to expect but I was surprised by how spacious the place felt. Everything you needed was there and the little details that were put into the home made it feel so special and luxurious. Clare was a very responsive host and gave us some great recommendations. There’s some beautiful hikes within 10 minutes drive of the home and a winery around the same distance. Halls Gap township was not far for picking up some things to grill on the BBQ. Overall a magnificent stay, couldn’t rate it highly enough! We will definitely be back!

We found a last minute deal at Angela’s and it was a wonderful experience. The place was amazing and the kids loved waking up to sound the birds make. We didn’t see any kangaroos / wallabies at the property but we found a lot of them in Grampians. The overall stay and experience was Awesome.

We had an excellent stay at Melanie’s place, it was clean and in a great location. We could easily walk to the local shops, park and restaurants. The beds and linen were super comfortable and the property had fantastic amenities. Definitely recommend!

Newly built 'Gwandalan Retreat'

We arranged this weekend to share a mystery picnic with friends. The accommodation was as described - a brand new property. This did mean that the landscaping had not been completed, but that was not surprising given the very recent bushfires. The communication from the hosts was excellent, everything we could have needed was available. We were welcomed by kangaroo’s and dear, as well as so many varieties of native birds. A really beautiful experience, thank you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wilde House. Beautifully presented, we felt right 'at home' immediately. Fantastic kitchen and indoor/outdoor eating spaces for cooking and sharing meals with friends. Beautiful walks locally and into the Grampians. Very responsive host. Highly recommend.

Really nice house with lots of little extras in the pantry and bathroom that we didn’t expect. Having wifi was a big plus since the Halls Gap reception can be a bit of a hit or miss. The place felt super welcoming and homely. Would definitely recommend- and the view of the Pinnacle was amazing! Thank you, Amanda!

Liz's place was cozy, well appointed and conveniently located far enough out of town to make the most of the bush's tranquility but close enough to Halls Gap's restaurants and trail heads. We enjoyed dining on the balcony and soaking up the views around the house.

Easy few minute drive into town. Great view of kangaroos and emus with the mountain in the background. Short stroll to the pub on the corner. We’re readers, so loved having two couches to stretch out on.

A very nice stay in Halls Gap. The unit was small but neat and tidy. Lovely to feed the birds on the balcony and not far from the main street. Located back off the main road too, which meant not too much traffic noise. The air con is quite noisy and it was hot over the weekend and there were no fans available to use in the bedrooms. Otherwise a lovely stay, there were even apples and slices to enjoy as well. Would recommend!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Deb and Jim’s in Ponomal,. This property was the perfect base for exploring the Grampians, offering a peaceful retreat just outside the bustle of Halls Gap. After a day of hiking and sightseeing, it was a relief to return to the calm and serenity of Astoria Park. Our kids absolutely loved the property, there was so much space for them to explore, and they quickly made a new friend in Ollie, the delightful dog who was always ready for a game of fetch. The natural beauty surrounding the property was breathtaking, and it was a joy to let the kids roam while we relaxed and soaked in the tranquility. Deb and Jim were exceptional hosts. From the warm welcome to their thoughtful local tips, it was clear they genuinely cared about making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We felt incredibly lucky to have been able to share in the beauty of their property and appreciate all the little touches

We had a super nice stay at the C & C Park! The cabin had everything we needed, and it was so nice to relax on the small terrace at the end of the day. We liked the surroundings too. Stawell is a cute town :)
