This place was absolutely beautiful. It is the last house up to the water, so it felt so private, and peaceful! The grass was beautiful to sit by and watch the birds. The inside was sooo cute, and we LOVED the true and honest nearby restaurant and bar recommendations. Would definitely recommend if you want a peaceful weekend away, and like to be outside enjoying the scenery!

My friends & I recently spent a weekend at this beautiful home in the bayou, and it was exactly the escape I needed. From the moment we arrived, the peaceful atmosphere and stunning views instantly set the tone for a relaxing retreat. The house itself was cozy yet spacious, with a rustic charm that made it feel like home. Large windows offered gorgeous views of the water, especially during sunrise and sunset. The breakfast area overlooking the bayou instantly became our favorite spot for morning coffee and evening drinks. We spent most of our time outdoors—fishing, chatting with friends, having drinks/Momosas and just lounging around. At night, we grilled dinner, sat around in the “boom-boom room” as my husband calls it and watched the stars. It felt like time slowed down in the best way. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful, providing everything from extra towels to board games and local recommendations. Every detail was well taken care of, making the who stay extremely comfortable.

This was really an accommodating stay , the neighborhood is really nice and the house is really clean and spacious. Every restaurant known to man is within a few miles There is an African style zoo just over an hour away with lions, tigers, giraffe and many other animals ZOOSIANA. Awesome movie theater with lounge recliners and a bowling alley not too far neither. Walmart is only a mile away too. It’s only an hour away from the gulf also, (holly beach) you have to ride a car ferry to that particular beach (which was really cool it only cost 1 dollar. No extraordinary American landmarks but for a simple good time it’s great. Also 1 hr away is the regatta , this place is amazing food , drinks and you can eat on an enormous patio I would highly recommend Carlos and his place

This place is so lovely! A getaway to a step back in time…with clawfoot tub and original wood floors! The house is spotless with lots of southern decor and charm! The hosts are the best…very responsive, accommodating and super friendly. I found my place to stay when I’m visiting my family in Lake Charles area. 🩷

Cozy little spot close to plenty of restaurants and the refineries.

We had the most incredible stay at this impeccable beach house. The place was squeaky clean, beautifully maintained, and exuded a tranquil, relaxing vibe that made it hard to leave. The host was absolutely wonderful—attentive, kind, and made us feel right at home. Every detail was perfect, from the stunning beach views to the cozy, inviting interior. I’d love to come back again and again—this gem is a true paradise!
