Convenient location to tour the scenic area, attend festivals, and other attractions in South Louisiana. Please email with any questions! *This is my home and primary residence when it is not rented to guests, so you will see my personal affects around the house (clothes in the closet, family photos, antiques & collectibles etc.).

Beautiful house located on the Mermentau River

Enjoy a relaxing stay at our beautiful home on the Mermentau River. This house sleeps 9 easily with 6 beds, a queen sleeper sofa, a futon and two full bathrooms to accommodate a large family. This home offers an outside screened in sitting area, and private wharf to enjoy fishing. Dock your boat at the public boat launch located about 5 minutes from the house and enjoy a nice cruise on the river. We also offer a camper spot located on the property for an additional fee, 50 amp full hook up.

Travel one mile down a sugarcane-lined road to arrive at this self-built cabin modeled after an 1830s Acadian Village home. This one-room rustic cabin sits on 27 acres, perfect for a gadget-free weekend of star gazing and bird watching. You’ll love sipping your coffee (or wine) on the large porches, complete with swing, rockers, and ceiling fans. Bring your furry friend and take long walks around the tree-lined property, or cozy up with your loved one and bask in the privacy of the cabin.

Cottage in downtown Kaplan, LA. 2 BR/1 BA, all linens, kitchen equipment, cleaning supplies provided. Coffee, tea, and waffle fixings available. New appliances and high speed internet. Electric fireplace, mini-split AC/heat in common space, window units & blackout shades in each bedroom. Twin beds in front bedroom, queen in back bedroom, full bath located between. Backyard with large covered deck & grilling area. Fenced space for pets. Carport has ping pong, darts, & corn hole.

Cajun Acres Log Cabin

Our cozy cabin sits in the heart of Cajun country, about 30 minutes outside of Lafayette. It's a great place to spend time relaxing in the quiet serenity of South Louisiana, or enjoy spending a night or more traveling through, it is located just 8 miles north of Interstate 10. We do not allow pets. The Cabin is all wood inside and has the great cabin smell the minute you open the door. It was built in 2014 by Amish builders in Pennsylvania and transported down by a truck.

This is the perfect bayou getaway in the heart of Cajun Country. It overlooks Bayou Amy, which is adjacent to the Atchafalaya Basin. It’s also within minutes of genuine and authentic Cajun cuisine (Landry’s and Pat’s) and local fishing and boating spots (Atchafalaya Basin). With a deck overlooking the water, a comfy bed, and plenty of outdoor space, it covers all points of interest! A great hideaway spot for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families!

This charming pool house has doors that open up to a poolside view. It has a full kitchen, washer/dryer, bathroom and a second floor that boasts a pool table and a balcony view of the pool! Sleeps 4. Downstairs sleeps 2 memory foam fold out sofa bed . Checkin time is 3:00pm and checkout is 10:00 am. We do allow lenient times upon request. Amy’s Poolside Retreat

Spacious pool house with a full kitchen and living area , access to a pool and hot tub (access to hot tub seasonal),as well as a yard for sitting and relaxing or watching your children play .More sleeping options available upon request in advance . No children under 15 in hot tub ( no jumping out of the hot tub either, )you will be asked to leave if your children are jumping off the sides )
