Cozy little apartment in a beautiful compound run by friendly and helpful onsite staff. It's a little removed from all the tourism sights and activities, but the garden and pool are lovely to enjoy if you don't mind traveling 15 minutes back and forth by taxi to visit the city. (Actually, a bonus if you're looking to avoid all tourist activities.) The kitchen has only the bare minimum basics, so those who enjoy cooking may find it challenging to prepare meals. No cutting boards, no butter knives, no grater, and other commonly used kitchen items. But if all you need is a microwave and a fork, then you're good to go. Food delivery is available via phone apps, so that might be enough for some people.

A quiet unique experience in an elaborately decorated accommodation. We stayed in the Konstantine room which has two levels. The room was very clean, had plenty of hot water for showers or a bath, and was spacious with a walk-in closet, sitting areas, and a refrigerator. There's not really a designated space to eat in the room but the common areas are available to use as well as the main kitchen. The neighborhood is very quiet and is in a gated community. We walked around San Lucas and found plenty of activity. It's definitely less touristy and more of a local experience being here. We did not see Edith, she seems to have other people run the house and stays in her own space. We could reach the house staff easily by sending messages. We splurged to enjoy the jacuzzi for one hour on the rooftop! The pool was also refreshing and the gardens beautiful! This location is about 30 minutes by car from Antigua and away from the hussle and bustle of San Lucas.

Linda is a gracious and attentive host who goes out of her way to create a warm and inviting environment for guests. She has really thought of everything. The house is absolutely gorgeous, with a stunning garden, comfortable furniture and wonderful Guatemalan decor. It is located in a secure residential area, quick walking distance of the heart of Antigua, and some of the best restaurants. At the same time, it is quiet and peaceful--I got a great night's sleep. I enjoyed talking to Linda (who is an kind and interesting person), meeting other guests, and the continental breakfast. My room was small, but had a comfortable bed, desk, and private bathroom with a nice shower--perfect for one person. I look forward to staying with Linda again in the future.

Antigua stay - We had a great stay! Even though there were multiple tenants, we rarely saw people around the house which made the environment feel nice and private. The room was clean and comfortable. Nice hot shower, though you’ll need to be wise with your time. The hot water lasted for around 7-10 minutes, but was not an issue for us. We regret not issuing the sauna in the back yard. You should check it out if you have a chance. The rooftop view was nice! I recommend an Uber to and from Antigua. The side walks get a little scarce in a few areas. Ubers are very affordable though. JB (the manager) is very nice and professional. He recommended to use the Waze app when trying to find the property, which was very helpful. Other map apps took us somewhere else across town. Overall great vibes!

Palacio de Dona Beatriz is in a secure gated community. It is very safe and quiet. The facility is more beautful than the photos. The staff was wonderful, kind, helpful and responsive to all our requests. The breakfasts were outstanding and generous. We booked out the whole place for my family to stay while attending my son's wedding. We were busy, with odd hours and stressed at times. The staff was flexible and smoothed the way for us. Everyday! If you think Palacio de Dona Beatriz will meet your needs I would look no further. They have my highest recommendation!

We absolutely loved this place. It’s simple but all you need. Great location and the rooftop was a highlight. I will recommend to stay here and stay there next time I’m back. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

La estadía fue maravillosa, la casa es absolutamente hermosa, exquisitamente decorada, en un entorno muy tranquilo, y seguro. Optamos por tomar el desayuno, y la mesa ,impecablemente puesta, el desayuno muy completo y absolutamente delicioso, la vajilla, los cubiertos, hermosos. El espacio del comedor es muy acogedor y bello, un espacio muy agradable para disfrutar de ese maravilloso desayuno. Las habitaciones, muy confortables y bellísimas . Lo mejor de todo, fueron las atenciones de Estela Méndez, siempre pendiente de que tu estadía sea lo más maravillosa posible y definitivamente lo logra, atenta a informarte, a ayudarte con todos tus requermientos,para hacerte sentir como en casa, con un amor absoluto por todo lo que hace, que se imprime en cada espacio, en cada alimento, y en la cercanía hacia los huéspedes. Volvería una y mil veces más!!!!
