The sabbatical house

Set in a coffee lot by a unique wetland area, this home is about twenty minutes away from Antigua. Still, it feels a world away. You'll spend peaceful days in the lush gardens and walk to the Mayan towns of San Antonio and Santa Catarina Barahona. Should you like, you can also get to know the kids who visit the "Caldo de Piedra" library next door. (Proceeds go to support it.) Bosque Macadamia - Paradise to Relax

Macadamia tree farm located in the Guatemalan highlands just 50 minutes from Guatemala City and 15 minutes from Antigua. The resort has 5 rooms each with a king size bed, private bathroom and fireplace. Of the five rooms, 3 are independent cabins with their respective balcony.
