The Cozy Conway Cottage

Enjoy peace and quiet along the Conway River. This relaxing getaway is about 1/4 mile off of rte 230. The cottage was an original one-room cabin with a centrally located wood stove/fireplace. It now boasts 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a full kitchen, large windows and a patio/deck with river views. During the fall and winter months, you can see the sunset over the mountains of the National park. It’s a 20 min drive to the Shenandoah National Park entrance and 5 minutes from Early Mountain Vineyard.

Sister's View

A refurbished 1950's country cottage, adjacent to 80 beautiful acres, overlooks the Blue Ridge Mountains. The house has high-speed internet. Enjoy an amazing sunrise while sitting on your bedroom deck sipping coffee. View sunsets from the front porch with a glass of wine purchased from local vineyards. Whether visiting UVa, hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains, touring the local wineries, craft breweries, or attending an event at the Barn at Edgewood - Sister's View will make your visit complete.

Spectacular Mountain Retreat

Cottage is the guest house of our country home. Situated on a mountain with spectacular views of the Blue Ridge and access to many hiking trails; biking; fishing and swimming in private pond only steps from the door. Cottage is located within easy driving distance of multiple wineries, Sky Line Drive and Shenandoah National Park; Montpelier; and restaurants and shops. We can accommodate no more than one dog, with prior permission. In April 2023, we again upgraded our internet (see below).

Great convenient location as our cabin is 15 min to Massanutten 4 season resort, 5 min to the nearest Shenandoah River access & 15 min to the main SNP Swift Run entrance.

This cabin is now SOLAR powered with a fully automated (touch free) standby generator as back-up. Note-electric vehicles cannot be charged at this property!

The Carriage House is located at South River Vineyard, a working vineyard producing Viognier and Petit Mensang grapes. Guests have exclusive use of the two bedroom, one bath cottage with views of the vineyards and the surrounding Shanendoah foothills and neighboring pastures.
