Enchanting Farm Cottage

Away from a main road, up a private driveway is Claret Ash Cottage. Just a few paces from the front door is an organic flower and herb garden where plants are cultivated for skin care products. You are welcome to explore the 33 acre property and a must see is the panoramic view from the hill. The quiet tree lined dirt road behind is a perfect walking trail. This farm is 35 mins from Adelaide and only 10 mins drive to shops or local eateries. We invite you to experience life on a working farm.

Halletts Valley Hideaway

Charmaine and Steve are the hosts at Halletts Valley Hideaway - a luxurious self-contained cottage tucked away amidst vineyards on the outskirts of Tanunda, in the heart of the beautiful Barossa Valley. The property was rebuilt from the ground up in 2017, blending original timber beams and local stone with contemporary design to offer guests a haven of peace and comfort. Enjoy panoramic views of rolling hills, spectacular Barossa sunsets, kangaroos amongst the vines and blue wrens on the lawn.

Designed and fitted with new pieces throughout each room. The original homestead circa 1860 began its life as the towns doctors' residence. Fast forward to present day and you will find a charming old cottage with a modern extension that has been thoughtfully designed, surrounded by a peaceful garden setting. Conveniently located in the heart of McLaren Vale, we are only steps away from all that the region has to offer. Make yourself at home! Take a swim in the pool, cook a BBQ and enjoy a glass of wine under our 170 year old pepper tree.

On the edge of a forest The Gallery is simply stunning. Soak in the huge freestanding bath while watching your favourite TV show or movie. Relax by the log fire, enjoy a romantic dinner in the fully equipped kitchen or take a stroll through the forest sculpture trail. It is the perfect place for a romantic getaway. You may find you don't want to leave but if you do there are over 80 nearby cellar doors to visit, amazing restaurants to dine at and beaches and trails to explore.

It’s a great spot to discover the Barossa Valley and a lovely neighbourhood. I have so many great memories here, and I’m convinced that you will too.

The cottage is located in a quiet street within walking distance to restaurants, wine and cheese bars, smokehouse, bakeries and Italian cooking school. Only an hour's drive north-east of Adelaide, The Rusty Olive is the perfect base for exploring the world famous Barossa Valley and ideal for a romantic getaway.
