Located on a very steep 3/4 acre property, you will be surrounded by nature. Deer, birds and the occasional black bear will delight you if you are quiet and patient. Just a four minute walk to Hopkins Landing, where a dock and sandy beach await. It’s the perfect place for kids of all ages (and their dog!), to play or just relax!

A short 7min drive from the ferry and just a couple minutes to restaurants, shopping, beaches & local artisans. Max Guest is 6. This includes infants. Newly built carriage house in a quiet rural neighbourhood that’s also minutes from grocery store and other conveniences. Easy access to lots of walking trails that connect Upper and Lower Gibsons- using the trail you are a 10 minute walk to Secret beach. In Lower Gibsons you will find a variety of boutique shops, restaurants, cafes, art galleries, the Gibsons Public Market, and Marina and Boardwalk. Upper Gibsons offers shopping, cafes, the Blackfish pub, and the 101 Brewery and Distillery.

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. There are two large sun-filled bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a kitchen, dinning room and living room. There’s also a third bedroom with a sofa bed for a 5th person or use it as a kids room ( we have portable crib/pack n play, a bassinet and a toddler's matresd). All rooms overlook the gardens with mountain and ocean views. This is a self contained suite in the first level of the house we live on the second floor.

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.
