A Scandinavian cabin where floor-to-ceiling windows frame sweeping views across Vermont’s Green Mountains and the Missisquoi River Valley. Maison Alice is one of two thoughtfully positioned cabins on our four-acre hillside, each with its own entrance and outdoor living spaces. This is a place where it’s easy to slow down. Some mornings begin with coffee on the deck. Others with a walk through the meadow. Either way, there’s no hurry. Outside has a way of becoming part of the day.

The original structure was built over 40 years ago, and if you look closely, you’ll still see the original log walls beautifully featured as the heart of the home. Over time, the cabin has evolved, reflecting the lives and stories of those who’ve called it home — and we think that’s part of its magic.

Come and embrace the majestic beauty of Vermont from Sugar Hill, a quaint log cabin nestled on 24 acres of beautiful countryside. Enjoy the views of the Canadian mountains from the front porch with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine; or wander around the pasture or woods behind the cabin. Close to both Jay Peak and downtown Newport, you can enjoy all those locations have to offer, or simply relax. Please note that the stairs to the 2nd floor are steeper than usual.
