Perfect for large groups/families. We had a total of 14 of us (adults & kids) and we had more than enough room for everyone. The kids absolutely loved the pool table and the fireplace and the sauna was great after a day of skiing. There were a total of 4 bedrooms and a ton of beds. It was 2 stories so have to watch the little ones. Owners gave a tour upon checkin, which was great to have. It was about 15mins to Government Camp and had two smaller grocery stores within 5mins. The house is on the older side, but overall met our expectations and our needs for this family vacation!

A few friends and I came up to Joe's place for a relaxing craft weekend and it was absolutely perfect! The cabin itself is adorable and so nicely tucked away on 10 beautiful acres. The kitchen was very nicely stocked with everything you need to cook your meals, the hosts really really went the extra mile to make this place special. Joe was very kind and quick to respond to messages and questions. This stay was everything we were looking for in a relaxing weekend-- I cannot recommend this place enough!

We had a great time staying at Altitude Adjustment! Really cool place and layout, with plenty of room for everyone. Close walk to Government Camp and Skibowl. House is stocked with everything needed to have a fun, relaxing time! We will stay here again during our next trip to Mt. Hood!

Such a wonderful and cozy cabin - kitchen has everything you need, beds are comfy, hot tub is wonderful, so many spots to sit and listen to the nearby river of the wind in the trees. Feels remote yet is an hour from downtown Portland. Can’t wait to come back!

I chose the little red getaway on the Sandy river for several reasons; location and the age of the cottage. I’m drawn to older cabins in the mountains so I can re-live parts of my childhood. Your cottage met all of my criteria and it did not disappoint. You’ve kept the original charm and character and blended seamlessly with new features. You hit it out of the ballpark for me. It’s in a perfect location. There is quiet and solitude and the neighbors couldn’t be seen or heard. The river is an exceptional bonus! We enjoyed the listening to the river from the hot tub and our bonfire. We also explored along the bank avoiding private property. Your home is kid friendly, spacious and cozy and we didn’t want for anything else. You’ve provided all of the basics and then some, including, coffee, tea, sugar, flour, spices, oil and every appliance you can imagine. Great spot! Beautiful property that feels rustic but has modern technology (central heating/air, smart TV, plumbing, well functioning kitchen appliances). Neighbors are close by but it still felt secluded surrounded by the forest. Hot tub was the main reason we booked- couldn’t have lived up to the hype any better. Host Brad was super communicative ahead of check in and let us arrive quite early at no additional charge. Just a heads up that the bathrooms have some accessibility issues (downstairs toilet is quite cramped in a corner between a pedestal sink and the shower- the other bathroom/toilet is roomier but up a flight of beautiful but uneven log stairs with a partial handrail). We found this to be manageable for our needs but worth noting to anyone larger bodied or with mobility issues to double check whether it will work for yours. Hope to stay here again! Thanks Brad!

Cute little studio in the country. It was a nice place to stay. We enjoyed the environment and the farm animals. The directions were clear on how to find the place and Julie was quick to respond to any messages I sent.

We have stayed at Charlie’s place several times before and it’s always welcoming, clean, and a nice place to spend time with family. Lots to do on the mountain and great restaurants in town with kitchen amenities if you want to cook or bake. Highly recommend! Thanks for another great stay, Charlie!

Great location and a beautiful view. Even though there are a few cabins next door, it feels completely private. All the windows face a beautiful forested area and creek. The hot tub was wonderful and the house is clean.

We have visited many times and continue to find the place and Tracy to be top-notch which is one of the reasons we keep coming back. The place checks all of our boxes for a relaxing, romantic getaway.

We had a great stay at Nedra’s place! We loved the walking path in the back next to the river, it was beautiful and peaceful! We also loved the rock band and spent the bad weather day inside relaxing and playing rock band as a family. Something we never do so it was super fun! There was plenty of food places nearby so we took advantage of that as well as cooked breakfast in the fully stocked kitchen! Beautiful location, fully functional house we would definitely love to stay again!

This is a true gem, and the lodging was even better than the photos! We had a late arrival and the process was super smooth, thanks to our very responsive and helpful host. The location is perfectly tucked away next to beautiful pine trees and running water. Loved that it was also easy to walk to the restaurants and shops in town. I would absolutely recommend staying here if you're visiting Mt. Hood.

Place was just what we were looking for. Plenty of space the 4 of us to have our own rooms, and could have accommodated many more. Felt very private for being a condo, and had good cooking amenities. The pool, though lacking in aesthetic, was really warm and appeared to be cleaned daily, I enjoyed the evening swims. Thanks for sharing the lovely space!

We stayed for 5 days at this cute cabin. It was a great home base to easily go find a quick hike and then come back and relax. It was a residential neighborhood, but when you were inside or out on the back deck, it felt very private. At this time of year, during the summer, you can’t really see the river from the house, but you get a view of tall, beautiful trees swaying in the breeze and a beautiful tree covered mountain. Sitting on the deck for morning coffee and evening dinner was our absolute favorite part. The afternoon hours get too hot to be out on the deck, so that was when we went for hikes, stayed inside, read, and played foozball. My boys loved having the video games to play (I took the violent ones out), the air conditioning was awesome, the kitchen was well-stocked, lots of kitchen and bath towels. King bed was so comfortable. There is a loft with 2 beds, one right by the railing, so I wouldn’t recommend having a small child up there. Fooz table was fun! Windows and sliding door could use replacing because it is hard to see out of them and door is so hard to open and close. Place was super cute and we enjoyed our stay very much.
