Take a stroll to the seaside Harbour Lights restaurant for seafood fare, then head to The Thirsty Oyster Tavern for a cocktail. Guests are advised to make use of car rental/uber for longer trips in and out of Gordon’s Bay, but may also enjoy walking or cycling exploring the village. Bicycles can be rented on main beach.

Located on the exclusive suikerbossie drive, this is a beautiful and private 60sqm studio apartment on the lower ground floor of a mountainside mansion house. Completely private with its own access and garden the apartment has the most breathtaking and uninterrupted views of Gordon’s bay, Table Mountain and False Bay. Just 35 min from Cape Town International airport, Stellenbosch and the wine-lands, it is an ideal choice for an intimate relaxed holiday or for the discerning business traveler.

Cape Point Mountain Getaway - Cottage

This is one of Cape Town's environmental and historic treasures. It is a candle-lit hideaway with stunning views of mountain and sea. The Cottage is completely off grid, with fresh water coming off the mountain and energy from the sun. The cottage is built from local materials - stone walls, reed ceilings, blue gum supports. There are glass doors and windows throughout the cottage. The cottage has a beautiful open-plan bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom includes a tub, a toilet and a basin.

For the outdoor enthusiasts Helderberg provide trails for hiking and mtbiking and our dam covers swimming, rowing and sundowners.

Snuggle up by the fire after a walk on the beach

Protea Beach Cottage is a 3 min walk to the beach, with no main roads to cross, so ideal for families with small children. Sandy beach with some rocks but can swim at high tide. Wi-Fi. DSTV Easy View (basic) DVD player with movies. 7 min walk to Harbour Island with Ocean Basket & Antonios, for great pizza. 13min walk across dunes into GB with shops & restaurants inc Spur right on the beach. For larger groups you can book Lente Cottage (3 doors down) & Protea Cottage together for 12 guests

Under milkwoods

This house is built directly above a secluded beach in Gordon's Bay. It has five majestic milkwood trees and an indigenous garden. The sea is often calm and the sandy beach is suitable for children. There are rock pools and cormorants and seals in the bay. The harbour and the village are within walking distance. The house sleeps four people, but only one bedroom is fully enclosed; the rest of the house is open plan. Sam lives upstairs and will be there to welcome you on your arrival.
