Vintners Rest by Meander Valley Vineyard

Private and luxurious self-contained cabin nestled amongst the vines on a 15-acre working vineyard in northern Tasmania. It’s a great halfway point between Devonport and Launceston (35min drive from either) We’re on the Tasting Tail, surrounded by a wealth of produce including truffle, salmon, raspberry, dairy and honey farms. In the distance lie the Western Tiers, Cradle Mountain, and the Tasmanian wilderness. It’s a place where the cleanest air, land and water produce truly outstanding wine.

Eco self contained cottage in a garden.

This mini 1 bedroom house was our trial run in building our main home using passive house principles. We are approx 1 km from the centre of Westbury in a rural location. (You may be lucky enough to sight some of our local wildlife during your stay! ) The cottage is suitable for a couple, however the extra single bed does enable some flexibility for guests.(i.e. if you wish to use both beds, please book for 3 people.) We provide a library of information about sustainability for guest perusal.

Happy Nest

Happy Nest is an apartment which is half of the main house at NutGarden. The house has been partitioned to make two residences. Happy Nest contains a bedroom, a large living area, a kitchen and shower/toilet. There is a double sofa bed in the living space as well as the double bed in the bedroom. The house was built by owner/ host Kim Clark who lives on the property with his partner Chintana. The spectacular location is in the rainforest of the World Heritage Region of the Great Western Tiers

Shanigans studio

Unwind in style at our studio retreat on the banks of the Liffey River, about 15 mins from Launceston & Launceston airport. Our charming 1-bedroom haven features a queen bed, ensuite, TV, fridge, microwave, toaster and tea/coffee amenities. Take advantage of the shared entertainment facilities, including a games room with a pool table, gym equipment & a washing machine. Linen provided. (Similar size to a standard motel room) Portacot available on request. Not suitable for pets

Ingleson cottage

15 minute walk to Deloraine Township, river and eateries, 40 min.to Launceston & Devonport, 1.5hrs to Cradle Mountain. Built in 1875 this cottage has several internal steps which may not be suitable for everyone. Renovated in 2015 a few walls have been moved, & a few luxuries added, to compliment the cottage there is magnificent views, & with views there must be hills. A bbq & a hammock on the deck for those who wish to relax. Suitable for a maximum of 4 people. fully self contained.

The Lane Apartment - 2 BR in Trevallyn

Bright and airy self-contained downstairs apartment, with views out over the the Tamar River and beyond. Perfect for couples or single travellers, for holidays, weekend travel or business accommodation. Less than 5 mins drive from the city centre. Take a lovely gentle walk along the waterside path to the Cataract Gorge (20 min), the city (2 km), or to nearby tailrace park (5 min). Two double beds: one in living space and one in a room adjoining the kitchen ( see plan in photos).

Naivasha Tiny House with Wood Fired Hot Tub

Naivasha Tiny House is the perfect romantic getaway. It is set in a clearing in the Tasmanian bush and has amazing views of the countryside. The tiny home itself has been built entirely of cedar by local artisans. It has been fitted out with antique and reclaimed furnishings with an emphasis on comfort and laid back luxury. The wood fired hot tub is without doubt the highlight. The claw foot bath, indoor wood fire, outdoor fire pit and friendly native wildlife are close seconds.

Wylah Cottage, Deloraine, Secluded Bush Retreat

Nestling in a forest of Peppermint Gums is Wylah Cottage, so named after the Aboriginal word for the Yellow Tailed, Black Cockatoo, which is regularly seen and heard around the property. A secluded, self contained, bush retreat, located close to all the good things Tasmania has to offer. On 55 acres of bushland, teeming with wildlife, yet only 7kms from Deloraine – on the way to Cradle Mountain, and 45 minutes to either the Devonport Ferry, or Launceston Airport.

Blackwood Cottage

Blackwood Cottage is a private, 1 bedroom, cottage that is situated on a farm at Blackwood Creek in Tasmania. The cottage is set within a grazing paddock and is only a 2 minute walk from Brumbys Creek. The property is nestled into the base of the Great Western Tiers which provides great opportunity for bushwalking and wildlife viewing. Blackwood Cottage is the perfect place to use as a base for outdoor adventures or as a place to relax in front of the fireplace.

Mountain Blue Guest house.

Mountain blue guest accommodation is a country , rural experience . If you would like to getaway and be isolated in a bush setting then this is for you. Only 15 minutes away from the township of Deloraine, central to the north of Tas , natural places nearbyto visit like Liffey falls . Tarcombe House at Deloraine

Tarcombe House is close to the centre of historic Deloraine with it's art & craft shops, antique shops, cafes, supermarket and gorgeous Meander River walks. Perfectly situated for the annual Deloraine Craft Fair and many other tourist attractions. It is cosy and very comfortable making it a perfect getaway for 1 or 2 couples travelling together. Each bedroom has it's own private ensuite. Deloraine is close to Launceston and Devonport and Cradle Mountain.
