Maggie May is the cutest little 1850's miners cottage located in a quiet Street and is close to Ballarat CBD, Sovereign hill and the Ballarat Wildlife Park. She is newly renovated, whilst retaining her traditional and charming authentic self she has been thoughtfully and beautifully decorated. By day enjoy in friends, couples or family fun time in a game of backyard finska, by night chats and giggles by the fire pit or watch your favourite Netflix series and then cozy up in a comfortable bed.

Located in Gordon in the beautiful Central Highlands, the Cottage is just over an hours drive from the Melbourne CBD and within a 1.4 km slightly elevated walk to dine at the funky Gordons Cafe or the Pub.

Stone Cottage (circa 1862)

"Stone Cottage" was built in 1862 from local bluestone and was lovingly restored in 2014. We are adjacent to Woowookarung Regional Park, popular for bush walking and mountain bike riding. Stone Cottage offers old world charm with modern amenities. You will not be sharing with any others. The main bedroom has a queen size bed & the main sitting area has a single bed. . A fully equipped kitchen allows for longer stays. (Ballarat CBD 10 mins; Shops-5 mins) Strictly no pets allowed

Vineyard Cabin | Blame Mabel

This is an immersive farm stay and working vineyard. Set among the vines, each cabin is private, with a bedroom, large bathroom and deep vintage bath. No TV. The shared cellar door kitchen and lounge is a place for cooking, gathering and experiencing life on the vineyard. Days move gently between the hillside and vineyard sunsets. Mabel (who we blame for most things) is often nearby. On weekends, the cellar door is open. A little rugged, slightly offbeat, and better for it.

The Cottage @ Hedges

The Cottage @ Hedges is an easy 10 minute drive from the centre of Ballarat. The cottage sits within a pretty country garden about 20 metres from my home on a small rural property. Close to parklands, Lake Wendouree, art galleries, wineries and lots of great cafes and restaurants. The Ballarat-Skipton Railtrail is just 300 metres away - perfect for quiet country walks and cyclists. It is comfortable inside and out with plenty of shady spots to sit in the garden.
