Two blocks from Golden Gate Park, we are in a safe neighborhood, and are close to main bus lines, museums, great restaurants, and beautiful hikes. Known in the neighborhood as the Bubble House, it's decorated with art and character inside and out. Kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped - like you are staying at a really good friends house. If you have a regular sized car or SUV, you'll always have a dedicated parking spot on the street right in front of the house blocking (but not in) the driveway.

The bus stops a block away that goes straight to downtown. The space is located on Lake Street, which is a slow street with few cars - great for walking, hiking, and biking.
