Taking a half-mile driveway, you will find an oasis surrounded by three sides of water, with a private pool, commercial-grade outdoor kitchen, a small fishing pier, and a 245’ pier (Currently not usable). It is centrally located to Mathews, Gloucester, Urbanna and Gwynns Island. Williamsburg is about a 50 minute drive. This part of Virginia is known for fishing, water sports, beaches and history. Come stay in this newly renovated rancher and enjoy the country on the river. We welcome one small dog under 50 lbs.

If your looking for a quiet place in a wooded setting, this is it. Cabin has view of private 7.5 acre pond, deck and walking trail to the scenic Dragon Run, with canoe portage. You are welcome to bring your canoe/kayak. Bird watchers, wildflower enthusiasts will enjoy what the Dragon Run has to offer. If shopping or history is your interest, this cabin is only 45 min away from Williamsburg, and will give you a place to relax. This is a pet friendly cabin.

Historic Ware River Cottage at Glebefield

Come visit this quiet and peaceful setting on the Ware River in historic Gloucester VA. The cottage sits on a 65 acre waterfront property. This fully updated cozy cottage is a great home base for exploring Williamsburg, Yorktown, Jamestown and Richmond. Pets are welcome with a small fee and pre-approval. There are serval buildings and gardens to enjoy so please take note of the picture captions for details on the cottage and other dependencies.

Lose your worries in The Tulgey Wood. Just like Alice down the rabbit hole, you will be transported to a quiet and peaceful land, back to nature, with all of the comforts of home. Surrounded by acreage on a private road, explore the woods, watch the deer, or take the kayaks out on the river. All this tranquility is 5 minutes from a cozy downtown area, complete with grocery store, gas station, and a variety of restaurants to satisfy any taste.

Virginia Dare

This cabin started out as a wheel house from a retired boat and was added on to. It is directly on the water with a large screened in porch. It has a galley kitchen, small bath with a shower. The living room houses the kitchen table, 2 twin beds a twin pull out sofa. The wheel house has a twin bed (best for a child). Day guests are prohibited unless otherwise arranged and there is a day fee of $3.00 per guest. THIS CABIN DOES NOT ALLOW PETS.

York Overlook

Enjoy AMAZING VIEWS from the full wall of windows. Outdoors features both a porch and deck. The home is on a hill overlooking the river. Enjoy a fabulous dock with a launch for kayaks. Home is complete with everything needed to enjoy the house and the water, including kayaks, and paddles and life vests. Set up a picnic or play with the kids on the sandy beach by the river. Truly a WATERFRONT paradise for your family to enjoy.
