A walkers’ retreat, an ideal base for anyone who enjoys walking, with easy access to mountain trails and the coastal path. Only a short drive to Newcastle with its world renowned golf courses and areas of outstanding natural beauty.

Stone Wall Cottage

200 year old cottage nestled in a white-washed courtyard, lovingly restored and brought to life. All the modern comforts integrated between stone walls and rustic beams in a beautiful rural setting. Located half a mile from Tollymore Forest and by car we are 5 mins from Mourne Mountains, 5 mins from Newcastle and 5 mins from Castlewellan. The cottage is in the midst of our working horse farm, horses, chickens, dogs and donkeys are all part of the family. Dogs and horses are welcome guests.

A 15 minute drive to the beautiful seaside town of Newcastle with its many shops, eateries and ice cream shops is a must.

Lively Newcastle town, with its many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants is less than 5 minutes drive away. Other attractions close by are Murlough Beach, Castlewellan forest Park & many walking, hiking & cycling trails.
