Less than 5 minutes walk to Wainui Beach this studio is perfect for a quiet get away. Centrally located in Wainui near the local surf lifesaving club there's a cafe an easy 10 minute stroll along the beach or the local store 5 mins in the opposite direction. Gisborne City is a 5 minute drive. The studio has a queen bed, with a spacious bathroom and a simple kitchenette. The Studio is attached to the house but has it's own entrance with off street parking at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac.

The Barn

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. 5km from The City Centre, everything is close. Situated in Rural Gisborne you will wake up to the sound of our farm babies not the noise of town. This open plan, apartment is above our storage garage. You will have your own parking and entrance to your little apartment. Central, Spacious and Comfortable Retreat

Our spacious and comfortable retreat is located in central Gisborne, only a short stroll (200m) away from Ballance Street Village, where you will find great food, coffee and many other bare necessities (post, gift shop, florist, pharmacy, liquor store, etc). Your sunny room is self-contained and situated in a private area of the house with independent access and contactless entry system. Enjoy a luxury king bed, Wi-Fi, TV (freeview, Netflix), workspace and kitchenette.

Pōhatu Studio, A retreat by the River

Pōhatu, meaning stone in Maori, is a beautiful 1925 Arts & Crafts house built by one of regions wealthiest landowners. Lovingly restored in 2020, the guest room is self contained and absorbs the morning sun. Pohatu is located beside the Waimata River, on a 3000m2 section surrounded by mature trees and gardens which afford privacy for sitting outside with your favourite beverage. The property is a short walk to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants.

Gisborne Dream Suite

The guest suite in the front of our character bungalow is centrally located to Gisborne town with its local eateries and beautiful beaches. Easy walking distance to the Tairawhiti Museum and the Saturday Farmers Market. It has its own separate entrance for you to come and go freely as you explore the Tairawhiti Region. We have created this little haven for wanderers, travellers and whānau (families) who want to enjoy the East Coast.

Modern 7yr old one bedroom guest house. Separate lounge and kitchen, bathroom with shower and toilet. Attached to main family house but separated by two garages giving privacy. The space is suitable for couple wanting a quiet getaway with separate entrance to the family home. 1 min walk to 1 of nz’s best surf beaches and short drive to others beautiful beaches/surf breaks and Gisborne Town .

Guest wing at Sponge Bay

Single storey guest wing in a sheltered, established garden a stones throw from Sponge Bay. Private and secluded the guest wing has its own terrace, entrance and parking at the front of the house. There is a 12 metre teardrop swimming pool set in its own private garden for guest use. Enjoy the birdlife and rural aspect with all the advantages of being close to town and beaches.

Beach and Bush Retreat at Okitu

Set on the edge of a native nature reserve, with stunning sea views, we are offering the perfect escape 10 minutes drive from Gisborne City Centre. We live in the upstairs part of the house, and you will have your own separate entry, with access to a lock box. Be prepared for the native birdsong to which you will be serenaded with throughout your stay.
