Gizzy mini retreat: Spa & Salt pool - Whare Aroha

A mini sleepout with a double bed, tv, internet, heater, shower and toilet. The suite has private entrance with key and offers a seperate kitchen/ washhouse with a microwave, double element cooker, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, Nutri bullet and cooking items. Coffee, tea & cereals provided as well as sham/Con and bodywash. Spa pool and pool access. Swimming pool available November to March only. Friendly family dog who is not allowed in the suite and 2 family cats. Not suitable for children.

Less than 5 minutes walk to Wainui Beach this studio is perfect for a quiet get away. Centrally located in Wainui near the local surf lifesaving club there's a cafe an easy 10 minute stroll along the beach or the local store 5 mins in the opposite direction. Gisborne City is a 5 minute drive. The studio has a queen bed, with a spacious bathroom and a simple kitchenette. The Studio is attached to the house but has it's own entrance with off street parking at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac.

This open plan, apartment is above our storage garage. You will have your own parking and entrance to your little apartment. Pōhatu Studio, A retreat by the River

Pōhatu, meaning stone in Maori, is a beautiful 1925 Arts & Crafts house built by one of regions wealthiest landowners. Lovingly restored in 2020, the guest room is self contained and absorbs the morning sun. Pohatu is located beside the Waimata River, on a 3000m2 section surrounded by mature trees and gardens which afford privacy for sitting outside with your favourite beverage. The property is a short walk to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants.

Gisborne Dream Suite

The guest suite in the front of our character bungalow is centrally located to Gisborne town with its local eateries and beautiful beaches. Easy walking distance to the Tairawhiti Museum and the Saturday Farmers Market. It has its own separate entrance for you to come and go freely as you explore the Tairawhiti Region. We have created this little haven for wanderers, travellers and whānau (families) who want to enjoy the East Coast.

There is a 12 metre teardrop swimming pool set in its own private garden for guest use. Enjoy the birdlife and rural aspect with all the advantages of being close to town and beaches.

Beach and Bush Retreat at Okitu

Set on the edge of a native nature reserve, with stunning sea views, we are offering the perfect escape 10 minutes drive from Gisborne City Centre. We live in the upstairs part of the house, and you will have your own separate entry, with access to a lock box. Be prepared for the native birdsong to which you will be serenaded with throughout your stay.

Private, comfortable self-contained, ground level flat situated below host's house on an elevated section, with quiet surroundings and garden views. Handy to CBD, airport and hospital, with a well stocked Four Square store within walking distance. The flat has a separate entry and outdoor area. A washing machine is available on request.
