If I had to describe our stay at Arun Kumar’s Airbnb in Ranchi, words would truly fall short. Only those with a heart and soul can understand the warmth and comfort this place offers. Arun Kumar is not just a fantastic host—he is a true gentleman and a perfect family man who ensures every guest feels at home. The apartment is ideal for a family, especially with kids. It’s a spacious two-bedroom, fully furnished home equipped with everything you could possibly need—cooking utensils, a gas stove, microwave, refrigerator, washing machine, TV, and more. One of our favourite spots was the peaceful balcony, where we enjoyed our morning tea in absolute serenity. We cooked our meals, relaxed like we do at home, and explored the beautiful surroundings and tourist spots nearby. The stay was seamless, cozy, and filled with beautiful memories. It was indeed a home away from home. Thank you, Arun Kumar, for making our Ranchi trip so memorable.

The place was exactly as described and as in the photos. The host was great and very quick to respond to our queries. Despite having an unforeseen water issue (nothing to do with the actual house but an issue in the area itself), they proactively informed us of the possible water shortages and they even provided extra cans of water. This was very much appreciated. The location was great and easy to access via ride booking apps. There is a large supermarket within 200 meters or so. All in all, it was a great stay and we would definitely want to be back there if we visit Ranchi.

Over the 17 days we were based in this residence we were treated with warmth and sincerity by our hosts. Our stay was made all the more special by their generosity in including us in some celebrations (Republic Day) and festivals. The access to a whole floor of this modern building gave us our own space to spread out and access to the terrace on our level was helpful in giving great views over the surrounding hills and village. Using Uber (usually around 15-20 minutes from most places) to get home was easy and there was a main access road to central Ranchi nearby. This building is around 5 years old and was commissioned by the hosts. It is a secure building that tended to be locked round 10 p.m. (hosts would let us in later if required when we requested but no key to building given so arrangements had to be made in advance).
