Arbutus Cove Retreat offers sweeping ocean views and a restorative coastal escape. Featuring four fully contained, private suites, Hemlock, Cedar, Sitka & Heron, it's perfectly located between Powell River & Lund. Explore kayaking, mountain biking & climbing, fishing, hiking, or wander beaches, visit breweries & browse artisan markets. Then return to wellness and calm: soak in the hot tub, book the sauna (extra), or gather at the beach fire pit. A tranquil retreat to recharge and reconnect.

The Garden House

Our get-a-way is an oasis on a beautiful island, at the end of the road. We are very close to Fillongly Park with its beaches, views of nearby Hornby Island, and old growth trails along the creek. Our garden house is tucked behind the main house. It's surrounded by abundant landscape, woodland, a seasonal stream, and our horse pasture. The house and it's surroundings are private and peaceful. You may see the horses, a peacock, tree frogs and deer, but you won't see any traffic or crowds.

Margo's Seashore Villa

Peaceful oceanside garden suite with covered patio area, fire table and BBQ. Steep path to private beach. Enjoy panoramic ocean view from your suite and watch otters play and whales spout. Eagles soar from treetops and hummingbirds zip about the garden. Newly renovated suite boasts fully equipped kitchen. A bathroom for pampering with tub/shower and heated floors. King bedroom with electric fireplace (no window) and second bedroom with bunkbed (curtained off from main living area)

The Fat Cat Inn

In a quiet neighborhood, a lovely, private, air-conditioned, vaulted-ceiling cabin with glass front overlooking Baynes Sound and the mountains of Vancouver Island. Self-contained with a private entrance. Queen-size bed in loft, single bed on main floor. Private bathroom with shower. Private access to beach. Close to ferry, a short walk to the local village. Please note that this property is not suitable for people with mobility issues or small children. WE DO NOT CHARGE CLEANING FEES.

Tucked into the forest canopy on Bowen Island, the Wildwood Cabins are authentic, hand crafted post and beam cabins built from local and reclaimed timber. Welcome to the home of Jamie, Kimmy and Harper! This is a heritage home built in the 1940s with a lot of charm and original character but has been completely updated on the interior. This 800 sf home has all new appliances and a brand new kitchen and bathroom. Located one block from the sea wall and just a few minutes walk from the main shopping strip on the water front. The backyard has been graciously updated with a new seating area, hot tub, and pellet BBQ.

The Hideout

We have updated The Hideout and look forward to welcoming the world back at the end of summer 2025!! The Hideout grew from a vision we had when we moved to the Coast in 2020. With the desire to share our dream of living amongst the trees, tucked away from the world, The Hideout was created. Wrapped in hand milled cedar, fir and hemlock this space was designed to remind us to slow down, breathe deep and take it all in.
