This cottage exceeded our expectations and was perfect for our family, offering much more space than the photos suggested. It came fully equipped with all the necessary amenities and then some. The atmosphere was incredibly comfortable, adding a touch of luxury to our stay. My kids were thrilled to have the pool just across the street, which made our vacation so much more relaxing with easy access to entertainment. The hot tub provided a wonderful spot for unwinding. Being located in a resort meant we had access to fantastic amenities, including a delicious taco and margarita bar right on site and a beautiful Aveda spa that was surprisingly affordable, all within a minute's walk. It truly felt like a getaway!

This is my second time staying at Heidi’s and I have to say, it is still by far my favourite Airbnb. I absolutely love it. I call it my home away from home. Heidi is fantastic and such a wonderful host. Very accommodating and helpful. Even sent me recommendations on her favourite spots in Courtenay. I can’t recommend her place enough. 10/10 all around.

Kelli’s place is amazing- absolutely what I expected based on the photos. If you are considering this spot- book it! IWe were just able to do one night stay at this place, but wished we could extend our trip. It is located in a quiet, serene area, and is a big property so make sure you explore!! Don’t forget to enjoy with the goats or to relax in the hot tub. I am so glad I booked my time here.

My partner and our children reserved this lovely home for a retirement celebration with our in laws. The home was spacious for all six of us and our family dog and there was something for everyone to enjoy. The home is nestled in a beautiful mountainous area with lovely views from all the front windows. It's rustic yet modernized layout and structure made it the perfect place to cozy up together or spread out and enjoy some quiet time separately. It's location is close enough to many trails and beach access points to get out and explore. The hot tub, sauna and cold plunge were definitely a highlight for our Spring trip and did not disappoint.

Everything with our stay was wonderful. It was so nice to be welcomed to our room with a couple of waters and pops in the fridge and snacks on the counter. That extra little gesture goes a long way as did the coffee station goodies for our mornings! The to-go cups were the bomb!! Will definitely be booking here again! Condo was clean, quiet, and comfy!

My friends, family, and I had a wonderful time staying at Erica’s place. The home was cozy, spotless, and beautifully designed, truly an amazing space overall! Everything we needed was provided, and the kitchen pantry was well-stocked, especially with a variety of teas that we happily enjoyed (we may have gone through most of them!). Erica was responsive, helpful, and polite in answering all our questions. We’ll definitely recommend her place and won’t hesitate to book again for our next visit. Thank you so much for giving us the BEST STAY EVER!

Stunning place literally steps from the ocean. Clean, comfortable, the attention to detail in stocking the kitchen with all one needs to make a fabulous meal. Our only wish was a fire table on the deck. We loved our stay!

Pat's place is awesome. We, a family of four - two adults and two kids (one is at teen age and another one is younger), spent a great long weekend there. Bright, cozy condo with great view from almost any window. It fits all of us, has a nice kitchen with everything you need for your stay. Heated pool with a hot tub, which we and kids enjoyed, just downstairs. The Bay is very good for paddle boarding. We did twice over our stay. If tide is low, you can reach a tiny island where you can find lots of purple and orange sea stars, crabs, and oysters. Ladysmith and Nanaimo suggest great dinner options. Nanaimo also has a nice walkable Marina merging into Maffeo Sutton park. If you like hikes, we tried Extension Ridge Trail hike near Nanaimo and can strongly recommend it to anyone. Malahat Tower is a fun place to visit, just one hour of driving from "Inn of the Sea" resort, we've been there, and were not disappointed. Will definitely stay again at Pat's place.

Johanna was a wonderful, friendly, and extremely communicative host. Our family had a great time staying at her home. It felt cozy and was well stocked. She was super helpful and responsive when we messaged. The home was as described and has a great layout in a quiet area. The resort drive area is fantastic and close to everything. Parksville is such a great location with lots to do. Highly recommend Johanna’s home to stay at. We had an adventure packed and relaxing stay. Looking forward to our next trip.
