The place is a wonderfully refurbished house in a rural community outside of the main downtown & VaTech campus areas . Convenient to both Blacksburg andChristianburg. The house is very clean, comfortable and has above average amenities, especially in the kitchen. One of the key features is an enormous and beautiful soaking tub in the bathroom. Sharon is a great host and very responsive. She provided snacks, coffee and drinks. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Nana's Place provided a great little place to get away for a long weekend. The themed decor was spot on as we found multiple items that our grandparents actually have. The house was clean, well appointed, and we loved the sunroom. The house is located right on Peppers Ferry Rd, so if you're sensitive to noise and light while sleeping, bring an eye mask and ear plugs because cars are traveling that road all night. Nana's Place is semiprivate as it is only one part of a house that is divided into three different sections - Nana's Place, another AirBnB type rental, and possibly a business/storage portion. The comedic moment that will bring a smile to your face is when you find the picture of Estelle Getty from the Golden Girls TV show.

Accommodations were perfect for a weekend stay. Walkable distance to Patrick Henry Dr. to hop on a bus to get campus or stadium. Diane replied quickly to any questions. Definitely check out this listing!

This was our second holiday family trip at this Air BnB! We hope to come back for year #3!

We had a great stay at Lindsey's home in Blacksburg! It was a great location, not far from campus and a beautiful home with all of the amenities and even games and a puzzle for the guests. We would definitely stay here again!

Al was very responsive the couple of times I reached out. The fenced backyard was awesome for our 2 little dogs. A small dog bed (one of our dogs really liked it) and food/water bowls were provided. The bathroom has been recently updated and is very nice. The bedrooms are comfortable. There's no AC, but the house has a whole house fan (of which I'm a big fan, pun intended) that quickly cools down the house in the mornings/evenings. Very clean overall and quiet. The location can't be beat.

We stayed in Blacksburg for our son's wedding. The restored farmhouse and gardens were absolutely gorgeous! The hosts were very responsive, the kitchen was well stocked with coffee, snacks etc. the front porch was ideal for rocking and drinking your coffee. Would definitely stay again!

Joe's Place was a great place to spend the weekend in Blacksburg. Joe was very responsive, example-we got there a bit early and Joe generously let us in. Electronic keypad on door made coming and going very easy. It was well appointed, with enough kitchen items, clean linens and towels. Furniture and beds were comfortable. It was not cluttered but decorated in fun VT Hokie football items-a true fan would enjoy. Definitely a great place for a guys sports weekend, especially being on that side of town with a short drive to the stadiums. Thank you Joe!

Nice, quiet location. Easy walk to downtown and the Floyd Country Store. Apartment had everything we needed in the bathroom and kitchen. Even spare toothbrushes and toothpaste! Would definitely stay here again.

The mill was a perfect place for us. We love history and the setting was beautiful. For such an old structure we found it to be warm,cozy, beautiful and very comfortable. The floor to ceiling windows were wonderful. We enjoyed taking our E bikes out even at 43*! Very scenic and little to no traffic on the road. Such a gem! Many thanks to the hosts for creating a lovely getaway and sharing it with the rest of us!

Absolutely loved everything about our stay at this property. Our 1 year loved the adorable play space and seeing her in a big kid bed nearly made me cry. She was satisfied our entire stay just playing with the kitchenette and reading her favorite book that was there, Goodnight Moon. With her being happy it allowed my husband and I to sit back and enjoy the breath taking views. The location was perfect. A quick 10 min drive and you are in downtown Blacksburg. The property comes well equipped with all you will need during your stay. I highly recommend this property!

We have stayed in AirBnB all over the world. This is one of the best. Tastefully decorated with quality stuff. Very thoughtful to keep some snacks and water along with basic items for cooking that you would typically forget. This was our second stay. Will definitely be back again as our son is studying in VT.

Great place for our stay while in town. It was great to be able yo bring the dogs along with us. Extremely responsive and great to work with. Snacks were a great touch

Words can not express how amazing my stay was. First the location of the apartment is in the cutest little town , like something out of a hallmark movie. The host left clear instructions on how to get in and even left the lights on for me because arrived late at night. When I opened the door to the place it not only looked like the photos but even better in person! The place was clean, had all the amenities one would need for a stay and it was cozy, modern and I felt right at home. Even when I had to extend my stay the host was helpful and responded with a timely manner with the updated pricing, Pamela was also responsive and such a kind person to have as a host. I would definitely recommend this stay for future guest!

stayed here for the VT vs Marshall football game. everything was great, easy to get in, simple instructions a few nice perks when we arrived. the house was perfect for the weekend. it is located really close to campus in a quiet neighborhood. i would stay there again.

Great location, right across from trailhead! Perfect place to rest your head after riding the trails all day!

Second stay and still a great place! Highly recommend!

Location Location Location. We were really looking for a ski in ski out place as we were supposed to have quite a bit of snow while we there. Ended up getting about 10" so no matter what the roads were like we had enough food from the local store for a few days. but to my surprise they kept the fairly steep entry drive plowed and clear the whole time. the room was great and as to be expected. it wasn't that cold while we there but the newer mini split heat pump did a great job keeping us warm. I was already told by 13 year that we are definitely coming back here. she had an absolute blast. Thanks again for everything and we will be back again for sure hopefully this year.

8 of us stayed in Condo D203 for our annual ski trip. The location of this condo is very convenient as one of the slopes is located a few steps away, which is great for stopping in to grab a bite to eat or take a break without taking to much time away from skiing. Stephanie was very quick to respond with any questions we had during our stay. Driving to the condo and parking was also very easy even with all the snow Winterplace received this year. Our group had a great time with no complaints, we hope to return for our next annual ski trip!

We love the ability to ski in/ski out and that dogs are allowed. It is a good place for the price listed. We have stayed here twice now. I would just suggest bring your own shampoo and conditioner.

This was our second time staying at Angela’s place. Her home is very spacious, well-maintained and clean. We loved the easy access to nearby conveniences and the quick drive to Blacksburg. Angela was very responsive in our communications. We’ll stay here again in the future.

Very great stay. Rick did an excellent job communicating with us before and during our stay. Even giving a heads up on possible weather conditions that could impact the trip to the area. Everything was exactly as listed and easy to find. We would definitely stay again on our next trip to the area.
