What a treasure this property is and what a hospitable host!! An absolute GEM!! 💎 ✨ I booked the main house and one of the smaller houses for my extended family (8 people) and we were all so thrilled to have found this magical hidden gem set in an amazing landscape. You feel like you’re in a film set! And the amazing sounds of the jungle at night are a soundtrack you’ll never forget! Oh and the food - delicious! Everything was absolutely stunning 🤩!! And if that’s not enough, Thu is an incredibly helpful host as well. She went out of her way at night to have some urgent medicine delivered to my 80 yr old mum. Very grateful for her support. Thank you Thu. 🌷✨

Wunderschöne Unterkunft in einem ruhigen Tal auf Càt Ba. Das Essen war reichhaltig und sehr gut, vom Frühstück bis zu den Getränken und dem Abendessen. Die Gastgeberin ist äußerst nett und die Unterkunft kann einen Shuttle Service organisieren. Ich würde die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder besuchen!

Viet was very nice and chill host! The accomodation was clean and airy and we slept well~ The swimming is clean and beautiful! definitely recommend! the island is small and very good for you to turn off and relax~ Viet also helped us with trip to Halong Bay, which can be arranged frm port 10 minutes from the airbnb. You should go! thank you for everything

Thu Ha was bijzonder vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. We werden heel hartelijk ontvangen in Aromahouse in Cat Ba en daarna volgde een adembenemende boottocht naar Cat Hai. Onze bagage werd met de bromfiets opgepikt door Mai en na een korte natuurwandeling arriveerden we in het Ancien House. Voor ons leek het wel een droom. Je stapt langs een klein schilderachtig poortje een paradijs binnen. Het decor is adembenemend met hier en daar enkele gebouwtjes die de tand des tijds nauwelijks hebben doorstaan. Hier adem je gewoon authenticiteit. De inrichting van ons verblijf was sober maar vooral stijlvol. Het comfort is beperkt maar de unieke omgeving compenseert alles. Dit is bij uitstek een plek om tot rust te komen. Ook de kok verdient een pluim. Het eten was er heerlijk. Mocht het niet zo ver zijn, gaan we zeker terug!

Honestly this may have been one of the best places we have ever spent vacation time. The property is an amazing restored estate built in traditional Vietnamese architecture out in the jungle surrounded by mountains. The property is run by Mai and her family who are very sweet and peaceful, and make some of the best Vietnamese food we have had outside of the Hanoi Michelin street food circuit. They made us these enormous feasts of many different dishes for dinner that left us speechless. We were able to get several private tours, bioluminescent plankton night tour and beach hopping-kayaking-seafood feast, which were both cheaper per person than the get your guide/viator tours and way more memorable. Everything was booked for us and we paid a bill at the end so we didn’t have to worry about cash for anything more than just coffee and bike rental in the village. Wat hebben we genoten van ons verblijf in Yen Hidden Valley. Een pareltje om te verblijven. Prachtige kamer, wij verbleven in de junior suite. Ver van alle drukte. En wat een vriendelijk personeel. We voelden ons onmiddellijk zeer welkom en thuis. En dit vooral door de ongelofelijke toewijding van Huy. Wat een werkethos. Elke service opnieuw, niets was hem te veel. Groot respect en diepe buiging. Het eten was supervers en superlekker. We huurden een scooter voor een hele dag. Zalig touren op het eiland, zeker aan te raden. Niet verder zoeken, gewoon boeken. Ce logement apporte la sensation de vacances que perd l’île avec les nombreux travaux en cours. C’est une bulles de paix avec un hôte adorable. Des animaux sont présents ce qui est agréable. Et les horaires sont très flexibles permettant d’arriver et d’attendre son bus tranquillement. Sa position centrale peut être vraiment un avantage. Nous avons pu marcher jusqu’aux différentes plages même si le logement n’est pas le plus près de celles-ci.

Just an amazing experience. It felt so surreal to be a “part of” the fishing village for a bit. We would highly recommend! The farm stay was well kept, and everything was very nicely furnished! The host was super responsive and helped us make all the connections!
