We have a star gazing area where you will be awed by the clear sky and see the Milky Way and all the constellations. Our Retreat Cottage is very well equipped with everything you need, including a 3 pin EV charging port. Your hosts, Drew and Sally, will meet you and show you around their small farm including cows, chickens and native birds, and browse the large vegetable gardens and orchard.

This self-contained studio with veranda is set in beautiful gardens in the rural village of Peel Forest, opposite the hall. Private, quiet, tastefully decorated. Living/sleeping are combined in an L shaped room. There is a separate kitchenette (basic food preparation/microwave/small electric frypan) and bathroom. Sleeping options - a queen size bed or 2 single beds. SINGLE BEDS MUST BE REQUESTED WHEN BOOKING. Bush walks nearby. Parking. Continental breakfast. Nearest town is Geraldine, 19kms.

Oakham Cottage - English style gardens, Geraldine.

Our lovely 2-bedroom cottage is situated on a large section surrounded by beautiful English style gardens. The gardens are well established, have beautiful hedges, flower beds and wildlife. We have a private outdoor area which has a BBQ and outdoor furniture so you can enjoy comfortable outdoor living. The cottage was redecorated in July 2025. The cottage has a heat pump. It's an easy a 1-minute car journey into the centre of Geraldine, or a 15-minute flat walk.

(Highway 72).With picturesque views of Mount Hutt and surrounding mountains.Methven is only a 20 min.drive where there are highly rated restaurants and bars. The area has recently been boosted by the opening of the Opuke Thermal Pools and Spa. Mount Hutt Skifield is likewise only a 20 min drive from the property.With Christchurch International Airport being one hour away.

Country Cabin

The warm and cosy cabin is a self contained unit detached from the main house, with BBQ, private deck and restful native garden. You will have your own access/key and off road parking. Our place is great for couples. On navman route, we are 2 hours from Christchurch and 4 hours to Queenstown. Only 1 hour from Mt Hutt ski field and 1 hour from Mt Dobson ski field. Aoraki Mount Cook is 2 hours distance and Tekapo is 1 hour.

The Loft is a stand alone unit above the carport. It has a Queen size bed and a sofa bed the can sleep an additional two people. The bathroom has a spacious shower with a good hot water supply. The Loft has a good WiFi connection and a TV with all the Freeview channels. The ingredients for a rich continental breakfast will be delivered to you which you can prepare in the kitchenette and enjoy at your leisure.
